Student Performance Workshops, Plays & Events
Fostering diversity, though not tolerating harm to another, the Student Performance Workshops prepare the students and staff for their rehearsals in preparation for their presentation of either of the plays, Charles' Choice for secondary level students or Charly's Choice for elementary students.
The event is comprised of a speaker before the performance, who speaks directly to the audience about respect and disrespect and its fall-out, teasing and bullying that leads to physical and sexual harm as well as death and may also include information about school policies, the actual play plus the following Question and Answer period as well as the provision of information about the resources available to all - students, teachers, staff and parents.
The workshops, plays and events are also supportive of other safe school and community and anti-bullying initiatives and particular school mandates. The workshops and plays are also directly linked to many of the school curriculum requirements.
