What the students, teachers, staff and community put into  the elementary and secondary school CC workshops, plays and events is the gain of  a whole and integrated approach for making positive changes that specifically address the challenge of safe and bully-free schools and communities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
   PRINCIPAL or INITIATOR
1.
Contacts workshop administrator for information and bookings
2. Selects and informs the school or community's inside facilitatpr (usually a teacher who works with a staff member)
3. Signs contract, authorizes and secures payment per contract
4. May be the speaker for the play and event
5. Supports and promotes the speaker, workshop, play and event prior to its presentation
6. Attends or provides another authoriative figure in their place

  
INTERNAL FACILITATOR
1.
Works directly with the CC Student Performance Workshop facilitator before, during and after the workshop, rehearsals and with the follow-up
2. Prepares students for their performance through script rehearsals
3. Works with the SPWF and students to include additional agreed-upon elements
4. Ensures follow-up surveys are completed and mailed

              
STUDENTS
1.
Asks questions
2. Further develops relationship, communication and artistic skills
3. Invoked to think about respect, their own choices, the impact their and other's beliefs and choices have on their school and community
4. Get other people thinking and talking
5. Personalize the play for themselves, their school and community
6. Experience the arts as a major tool for personal and community development
STUDENT PERFORMANCE           WORKSHOP FACILITATOR
1.
Works with CC administrator to most effectively book schools and communities
2. Initiates personal contact with the first contact and also with the people directly involved in the workshop to confirm workshop date, any specific needs i.e. numbers and names of children etc.
3. Request needs from school prior to workshop
4. Provides all the relevant materials, number of script copies etc. at the workshop, including surveys
5. If the facilitator is working alone (without a second facilitator) in the workshop, the lone facilitator first presents an overview about: 
A)  the speaker before the actual performance who talks about respect and disrespect etc. B) the fact that the two plays actually present the different audience's responses to the speech by the students' performances C) and that at the end of the play, the speaker or another person is to answer the audience's questions, as well as to provide information about the internal and external resources available to all
6. Follows up with the workshop group to discover if additional or revised assistance is desired or required and reports such information to the administrator, including script changes or additions
7. Attends the performance and event to present the Partiicipation Certificates if possible
8. The Student Performance Workshop facilitators are on contract and are to follow these workshop guidelines

WORKSHOP ADMINISTRATOR
1. Contacts schools and communities though phone, mail, email, website and networking to raise awareness and promote the workshops
2. Books schools and communites for their Student Performance Workshops and also books a facilitator
3. Mails contract and invoice to booked schools or groups
4. Confirms the workshop date with the facilitator and school/group after receipt of the signed contract and 50% of the invoice/workshop fee
5. Troubleshoots and liaisons
6. Mails receipt after second half of the workshop fee is received on the day of the workshop, then also pays the workshop's facilitator
7. Prepares Participation Certificates, compiles survey results and creates quarterly reports
8. Provides research, creates educational and promotional material
9. Takes direction from and is accountable to CHARLES' CHOICE and Charly's Choice creator and director, Kaitlin Ann Webber
