Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why should the students perform either the elementary (Charly's Choice) or secondary level play (CHARLES' CHOICE) for their school or community?
A. Because the experience generates more personal, school and community identification and buy-in regarding the subject of respect and disrespect  - and disrespect's fallout -- prejudice, bullying plus abusive and violent action to people and property.

Q. What if the play's story isn't as relevant to our school or community?
A. The theme of the story is relevant to all communities for all communities harbour prejudices, fear, denial, etc. to some degree; however, between the students, staff and the workshop facilitator or original creator, the play is adapted to better fit a school or community's specific challenges and demo and psychographics.

Q.  What do you mean by plays and events?  What events are you talking about?
A. Since the play is a series of scenes depicting peoples' responses to a speaker brought in to talk about respect, disrespect adn it's fallout, the event is comprised of the speaker, the play and the following Q & A period plus the resource information presentation after the play.  Participation Certificates may be presented to the cast and crew then or later.

Q.  How does the play and event all come together?
A. Check out page 2 of the brochure as well as contact the creator and administrator, Kaitlin Ann Webber at [email protected] or call 416-871-5475
