Kaithy Chan's Random Junk!!

1) What instrument/s do you play? If more than one, list in order of standard:
Piano/keyboards, vocal, a bit of guitar, some saxophone and a litle bit of drums

2) Do you write songs? If so, how long have you been writing?:
Yeah, I write songs!!! I've written just one so far, but it's my very very first year so yeah XD Don't be too harsh! I'm working on two other songs at the moment so this information is gonna change soon! =D

3) What is your favourite genre of music to play/sing/write in?:
For playing it's classical for piano, Jpop/jazz/classical for singing. For writing music, it's still classical for piano and it'd be either pop/rock-ish or hard rock/classical for singing =)

4) Who are your musical inspirations/influences? And why?:
Bee Gees, Carpenters as well as lots of chinese singers whose names I can't translate: my childhood friends =)

Evanescence, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Dream Theatre, Mandy Moore, Goo Goo Dolls, This Day and Age, Relient K, Muse, System of a Down: American influences due to my sis who's got great music tastes!! =)

Yuki Kajiura, Koda Kumi, Nobuo Uematsu, BoA, Utada Hikaru, Do as Infinity, See-Saw, Bana: Japanese influences due to anime! xD

J.S.Bach, F.Liszt, F. Chopin, W.A.Mozart, L.V.Beethoven, M.Gagnon, C.Debussy : Classical influences from my piano playing =)

5) What is your favourite genre/s of music? And why?:
Classical : music doesn't need words to express what the artist wants to say
JPop: love the language <3
Jazz/Blues: I admire those who improvise!! <3 <3
and lots more XD I like every type of music!

Not really. I've played with other people, yes, but never really actually formed a band... We got stuck at the name of the band XDD
