Lesson 3: Words Cut Like Steel
Raijin: This week's lesson is about a path, because, hey, why not?.
This path is in response to the Hutori's Blade path and more importantly, why don't the Scorpion have a bushi to courtier (or vice versa) path?   The path brings out the Scorpion's menace at court and their distracting wit in combat. Being skilled in both the courts and with a blade is of great importance to any Scorpion; how else to weave a plot and not die if the target discovers the plot?
The path opens up at rank two in either the Bayushi bushi or Bayushi courtier schools.  It egresses into rank one of whichever of the two schools you did not start out in.
Technique: Words Cut Like Steel: The character may add his Kenjutsu to all of his Courtier and Intimidation rolls.  Also, he may add his Seduction to all of his Kenjutsu and Iaijutsu rolls. (Technique rank: 3).
Now to explain the rational of the technique.  The first part of the technique is the courtier/bushi using thier prowess with a sword as a deadly edge to their words (e.g. thier words cut like steel).  A thinly veiled threat also seems very Scorpion.  The second part of the technique represents the courtier/bushi using his/her charm to off-balance an opponent.
