Then the elf got pinned down by monsters.

Realizing that the elf was doomed (and knowing that Raijin - our GM - was fairly forgiving and would let us re-do the mission), the dwarf and the barbarian charged the horde of monsters, screaming defiance all the way to their soon-to-be-filled graves.

And the wizard, you ask?

Well, like most wizards, he hung back and let the tougher members of the party take the abuse. In fact, he had not actually been in combat or cast a spell at that point.

The dialogue at that point when something like this:

Me: "Nathan, quick! Cast a spell or something!"
Everyone else: "Yeah! Use fireball or something, thin the ranks! etc."
Nathan: "Uh... uh... uh... I cast 'Walk Thru Walls' and run for the exit."
Everyone: "Nathan you $#^%!"

So, final tally: Failed mission, with the wizard being the sole survivor.

As I said before, Raijin is fairly forgiving, and let us start the mission over from scratch. (
That and you know its only a board game.  It's not like its any fun to not give the players a second chance - Raijin)

Raijin: "Ok, you've just descended into the dungeon. Your moves?"
Everyone except Nathan: "We all turn around and beat the wizard into
the ground for abandoning us!"
Nathan: "You can't do that!"
Raijin: "... I'm going to allow this."

It all sort of went downhill from there.  (
Oddly enough I believe they actually did better the second time around, but that could just be me considering the PK as an improvement.  It's hard to tell - Raijin)

We don't play Hero's Quest anymore. It's kinda sad.
Vedau's Haiku
Oddly enough also from Koi, Hitomi Vedau's Haiku.  Vedau became a staple in my Winter Court for the Gold ed. campaign, he and the Crab spent alot of time beating each other senseless in the dojo, and when out of character discusion went to the Kotei results (specifically Vedau making the Imperial court) alot of "Vedau Smash!!" and "Vedau Crush!!!" came up.  Eventually some contests came up and the players started asking, "Who's in the poetry competition?" so they started saying silly things like, "I bet Vedau's in it!"  End result, Koi wrote up Vedau's Haiku....-_-

                                              Vedau Smash Phoenix
                                            Broken Bodies Bleed Alot
                                              Armour Hard to Clean

I argeed that it certianly was... a haiku.
