The opponent list for the tournament had a number of faceless opponents that were fighting other NPCs of greater note. As the game got set up they were all given names and some small background.
Opponent 1 - Koji, the Ox clan bushi that fought with a yobanjin ring sword.... and got sliced to ribbons by Kakita Himura.
Opponent 2 - Utaku Seiko, a Battle Maiden who came to prove her clan's superiority, then Fumae reduced her head to goo.
Opponent 3 - Ikoma Sefaru, an Ikoma Spymaster left with a severe gut wound from his fight with Akiu.
Opponent 4 - Kasuga Kobe, Tortoise clan assassin skilled at knife fighting and alley ambushes losses to Kitsuki Kakuii.
