Kosai, younger brother of Kotai, is the best unit commander within the Rikugan no Seifuku. He is a slightly better fighter than his brother, but lacks his brother's tactical genius. He is well liked by his men, sadly unlike his brother he is very much a ronin. He likes sake too much and is far from unknown to spend nights in ess than savoury establishments.
During his first battle with the party he was defeated. However his men pulled him out to safety sacrificing themselves to hold back the party.
Kosai's epilogue: Kosai surrenders in order to spare his men. He later commits seppukku.
