Daniel James Ellis met Adriana Marie Holmes the night of the prom. Adriana was a senior and was unanimously voted prom queen. Her date, Marcus VanBuren, was the king. Marcus and Adriana had been dating for some time. Lately, however, Adriana noticed that he was cold and distant. Marcus decided that night, after the dance, that he would break up with Adriana. Marcus picked Adriana up at 7pm sharp (he likes to be punctual) and they went to the dance together. After the last dance, Marcus asked to speak to Adriana privately. They went outside and he broke the news to her, he had found someone new. Her name was Yvonne Medrano. Adriana's delicate heart couldn't take such a shock as this. She screamed and ran away. She ran out of the gym and through the courtyard where she accidentally tripped over Daniel. Daniel was looking at the stars as he always does right at 10pm (he's very punctual person too...Adriana just has a thing for punctual people, what can I say?). Daniel didn't attend the dance that night because he was a loser reject who nobody wanted to be seen with. Daniel promptly asked her what was wrong, but Adriana couldn't tell him because she temporarily lost her voice because of Daniels' beauty. She was in love. Not that fake love she had with Marcus, but real, true, hard-core love. Adriana, after dabbing her mascara away with Daniel's 'rescue tissues' she began to share her story. She told him about her picture perfect romance with Marcus and how ita ll had shattered before her eyes just moments before running into Daniel. One thing that she realized though was that now she had found her love, she would never be hear-broken again! THE END

Like a needle in a haystack,
