Chiba Mamoru, or Darien, in the DiC dub, is A Leo. Leos are generally a lot like Cancer, that is, emotional, and creative. Mamoru is a college student at Azabu tech. and is at the top of his class. His alter egos inclue Tuxedo Kamen, Prince Endymion, King Endymion, and during the first arch of the second season, Tsukikage no Knight (the Moonlight Knight).
Mamoru is Usagi's one true love, and vise versa, and atleast two villains from various plots have fallen in love with him (like Queen Beryl and Ann of the Makaiju tree).
He is the father to Chibi-usa and Husband to Usagi, in Crystal Tokyo, and in the anime, it appears that he has no real powers, while in the manga, so far as act 19, he can magically heal wounds, and is in touch with the earth. As the Prince of the earth, He is also in connection with the golden crystal, and the priest of the Earth and himself, Helios.
Mamoru is often tormented about being with Usagi while in the present time, whether it be by Usagi's friends (just teasing), by an enemy, or by his future self as King Endymion (a test, only).
