There is a world out there beyond our imagination, a world where anything can happen. This world is called the "E" World, and it's the most beautiful place one could ever dream of.
But this world wasn't very beautiful anymore. What was once lush green grass was now brown waste. Where animals dwelled, only dead trees remained. All the people who lived in the "E" World had fled to the abandoned castle and were living in fear. All except one.
This brave young woman stood on a cliff overlooking the dark castle, her senses open to the air around her. Her name was Teril, and she was the only one strong enough to stand a chance against the evil that threatened to destroy the "E" World.
Teril's ears perked up, and she spun around. A man cloaked in black stood before her. His face was hidden, but his bright yellow eyes stared intently at Teril.
"It's dangerous out here," the muffled voice said. "You should go inside before you get hurt." He laughed. Teril tightened her grip on the bow she held.
"And what are you doing here?" she asked. "Shouldn't you be inside as well?"
"My dear, I don't need protection." The man took off his hood, revealing a white, gaunt face with a crooked nose and bloodless lips that curled into a smile.
"Drake." Teril spat out the name as if it tasted bad. She took out an arrow from the pack on her back and attached it to the bow, raising it and aiming at the stranger. Drake laughed. He stepped forward and flicked Teril's bow aside as if it were nothing.
"Your pitiful weapons are useless against me." Drake backhanded Teril across the face, sending her sprawling to the ground. When she looked up, he was looming over her, his face grim. He knelt down and cupped her chin with a large hand. "Don't ever try to get in my way," he whispered in Teril's ear. "Next time, I'll be forced to kill you." He pushed Teril away, turned around, and with a flash of his cloak, disappeared.
Teril sat up, gingerly rubbing her chin. Her long, braided hair fell over her shoulder, and she tossed it aside angrily with a flick of her head.
"I'm such an idiot," she muttered through gritted teeth. "I should have known I wouldn't stand a chance against the most powerful being in the "E" World." Her dark green eyes flashed. "But I think I know someone who can."
