| It is safe to say that this suit was an effective mix between earlier incarnations of Godzilla, and the Millenium Godzilla suit that was modified to make this incarnation for Godzilla x MechaGodzilla. The GiraGoji suit was equipped with a more animalistic, narrowed, and intimidating head, along with a new set of shorter, more regular dorsal spines. The suit was painted a deep charcoal gray, and the dorsal fins returned to the usual light gray color. Godzilla�s tail was also elongated, and the suit had added bulk, to add to Godzilla�s intimidating appearance. This created a problem for the suit actor, as he was pitted against a much more nimble and speedy opponent, Kiryu (or Mechagodzilla). |

| Due to the massive heat build-up inside this bulky suit, many scenes in this movie were shot with no actor in the suit, leaving Godzilla completely immobilized. It added a sense of immortality to the character, but at the same time decreased the effect of animalistic behavior the rest of the movie delivered. Godzilla�s neck seemed to be very immobile, along with his upper arms. The suit would later be modified with a large scar (a result of Kiryu�s unleashing of the Absolute Zero cannon onto Godzilla) in Godzilla x Mothra x Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS. The suit used for this film was dubbed �SOS Goji�, as it appeared to be a more mobile modification of the suit, and of course had a large scar on the chest area. |
