For Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, Toho tweaked and reused the MireGoji suit. The head was modified and made more narrow towards the snout with an elongated mouth and more uneven teeth. The neck and upper arms were elongated for better mobility, because this time around, Godzilla had an opponent. The dark �Pine Green� of the MireGoji suit was changed to a lighter, more loud green. His dorsal spines were repainted mostly green, and had light purple tips. The overall effect of this suit inspired the suits used in the later �Kiryu series�. This incarnation was also one of the only two Godzillas to ever use an Orange atomic beam (the other being MireGoji).
