| This suit is concidered one of the more odd and baffling entries in the line of Godzillas cinema images. His second drastic change in appearance for the sixties was executed for one purpose: make Godzilla appear as a gentle-parenting figure. Before Son of Godzilla, not many could picture Godzilla as a lumbering, old father trying to teach his child a thing or two. Infact, this is as far as Godzilla would ever stray from his bringer of destruction roots. As for his physical appearance, Godzillas face underwent another major tune-up (or should I say tune-down). His face now appeared more mammalian and friendly than ever. |
| But the one thing that seems to jump out at you about this suit is the nose.the pug style sniffer planted on this incarnation of the Big G seems to baffle most at its purpose and point in being. With all the oddity of this suits physical appearance put behind, it really did serve its purpose quite nicely in Son of Godzilla, and seemed to fit right in with Godzillas goofy son, Minya. This suit was also used for swimming scenes in the later film, Godzilla vs. Gigan. |
