| Godzilla underwent a drastic change for Godzilla vs. Monster Zero. But once again, it was for the sake of the plot. In the two movies this suit was significantly used in (Monster Zero and Ebirah, Horror of The Deep), Godzilla was first realized as a friend and protector to the Earth, and not an unstoppable juggernaut of terror. To reflect such, the head was made more round with a smaller mouth, and large rounded eyes. Godzilla appeared more friendly as he entered the �Hero� phase of his long series. The suit was also used for the �New York Attack� scene in Destroy All Monsters. |
