Rules, Guidelines and Suggestions to make your experience here the best it can be! (If you have ANY questions, concerns or need clarification, EMAIL me)

Note; to succeed here means you’re goal oriented and someone who loves to E-fed. Don’t join if you’re looking for quick, easy victories and expect to win every week! I expect active boards and strong role playing from those who want to advance and become champions! I have eight years experience both competing and running E-feds, and believe the best feds have strong, creative players deciding the direction of storylines! Bring your A-Game!

First and VERY IMPORTANT RULE:

Failure to read and understand the following rules will NOT be an excuse! If you post LATE any Role plays, oh well, the rules here state the deadlines. Any other ‘complaints’ for losing, if there is a rule that covers it, won’t be listened too!

Role-play Rules.

We accept FANTASY characters ONLY, no Hogans, Cenas, or other real wrestlers are allowed.

Also, the PWA does not recognize, nor does it EXIST in the same reality as WWE or TNA or any other real fed, so no mentioning anyone from the real wrestling world in your promos.

Deadlines!

I have been E-fedding since 1999, and I know very well some people will post at the last possible moment…it’s a fact, and while you may not be one of those, there simply are some out there that do.. so, this fed has a unique system to prevent this. All shows are posted on Friday, and next week’s show will be booked and posted right after the airing of the Friday night program. This gives everyone Friday night to Thursday night (6 days) to role-play… but, if you join this fed, only do so if you have TIME to actually role-play….I will be strictly enforcing the below rules; HOWEVER, if you work with your opponent and agree to a different set of deadlines and e-mail me about it in advance, I will judge your match based on the agreement made.

1. Show is booked Friday by Midnight to Saturday 6. A.M.

2. You get 72 hours(3 days) to post your initial Role Play. It doesn't HAVE to be long, though it could be. As long as it is not JUST "Ima gonna kick your Butt!!" You have 48 hours(2 days) after the first deadline to post your second Role Play, then 24 more hours to post a final RP. No more than one RP will be accepted within the final 24 hours.

EXAMPLE for Clarification: You get ALL of Sat, Sun and Mon to post your first RP.. it can be very very short, as long as it isn't just saying I'm going to kick your ass.  Your SECOND RP has to be before Wed Midnight.. so you COULD do 1 Sat, and 1 Monday.. as long as your opponent role plays in between.. and then you both can RP as often as you want.. but on Thurs, you each can only RP ONCE.

3. Between the posting of the card and Wednesday Midnight there are NO Role play limits, however you can NOT post two in a row! On Thursday, you may only post ONE role play.

4. If for any reason you cannot make the first deadline, email me. I will work with you, but if you email me every week… I will have to deny consistent requests. As I said, you’ve read the rules, and if you apply, you agree to them.

Additional Role-play Rules

5. Any ON CARDS you send that include backstage interviews WILL COUNT towards the decision of who wins. However, on cards will ONLY count if you have followed the above rules. Note; by counting I mean it will help determine a very close match, where the role plays are dead even and the on card submitted advances the match, storyline or for various other reasons.  A simple "have my character walk down the hall way to the entrance" won't help.  A good backstage interview, or similar event MAY help.

6. Try not to be too vulgar…consider your role-plays are on cable, sure, but not like Cinemax…heh..

7. No attacking ANY other wrestler or their valet’s, managers in your role-play unless you post an OOC comment saying you got permission from their handler.

8. If you are booked in a title match, and are the challenger, then it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED you role play first. Meaning- Champ vs. Challenger matches, the challenger should role-play first. Being a champion has its advantages. If it were a champ vs. champ match, lower title holder goes first. This is not a set in stone rule, but could be considered in the decision making process.

9. IMPORTANT: Over all, this is a game based on OPINIONS. You may lose a match where you HONESTLY believe you did better, but overall, the decision is MINE.. You applied in my fed, to abide by my decisions.

Show Rules.

10. This fed is not going to spend a lot of time on full result shows. Storylines, ON-TIME shows, results and expanding the direction of your characters will be the primary goal. The matches themselves will be done in recap format, and could be as little as a single sentence to 1-2 paragraphs. If you’re looking for a fed that has huge results and a great deal of writing, keep looking. The one major downfall for any fed is DELAYS! To avoid delays, I am not going to put in MORE energy writing a show, then the energy put in by the players to CREATE the show. The length of each weeks show will depend on the following conditions; If the match…

A) Is a title match

B) Does it have any special stipulations (cage, last man standing, or other)

C) How many role plays were posted for said match

D) Importance of the storyline the match helps promote

E) On cards, strats for the match that are sent in

F) If someone decides to send me a FULL match, with entrances, and commentary.

G) Various other items that may change week to week, match to match.

11. PPV’s however, will be done in FULL Results mode, unless necessary to slim line results for none-rped matches, one sided matches or small, show opening matches.

How to improve your standings, earn title shots.

The best way to be recognized is to participate. You participate in the following ways.

12. Role-play, Obviously

13. Send in On cards

14. Send in Strats

15. Email IDEAS for your character’s direction.

16. OFFER to LOSE to push someone else *(believe me, those who lose and STILL RP, are going to be watched very closely, and offered chances more so then those who..well, obviously quit if they lose)

17. Posting on the forums, in OOC, and other areas. Join us to add to the ongoing conversations and become part of the ‘family’ atmosphere and chances are you will be remembered in the weekly booking process more so then those who may miss a week posting role plays and don’t say anything

18. DON’T WAIT TO BE BOOKED EVERY WEEK! Send in an on card even if you’re not booked a particular week… maybe just a backstage interview, maybe a comedy sketch.. hell, ask to attack someone to start a feud…or just for the hell of it, be seen in someone else’s promo walking past…anything to be SEEN. Ask for a match, make an open challenge on the OOC board. You want noticed, stand up and demand to be seen!

*I will be keeping a log each week on the activity of each person in the fed. Role-plays, on card, strats, posting on the forums, ideas sent to me, offers to lose, co-operative story feuds with another competitor… each thing you do will be kept track of… those who participate, will get first opportunities for title shots.

How Match Victories will be decided.

Now here is the BOLD experiment this fed will try…You are not only role-playing as a competitor here, but you are also a FAN… you have an opinion on how things go here… you will have a say on who is going to be the superstars of this fed, and who will be the mid carders! How? Every one of you will get to offer your opinion on who wins each match, each week! Around deadline time, read the role-plays and send a PRIVATE PM or EMAIL to me, offering your opinions on who should win… and WHY.. don’t just say who wins, but give reasons! Now, the final decision is still mine, and while the majority may lean one way.. I may like the opposing role-plays better… but the “FANS” will tell me who seems hotter, and those will be watched and given priority matches as the time goes on!

Ways that will NOT get you title shots or victories!

1. Offering to write a match…why? Because that can be considered favoritism that isn’t part of the progression of your character, or storylines.

2. Begging

3. Any fed, website updates. If you offer to help keep the fed up kept, then that’s great, but any STAFF duties will not get you a better ON SCREEN position, that just is not fair.

4. Flame wars, starting fights, being a general asshole. That’s not going to get you anywhere here.

BOARD RULES

If you do lose a match, and need to find out why, come to me in PM or EMAIL! If you post on the forums, in any way that I deem to be offensive or childish, I will delete the post, give you a warning and consider the matter CLOSED!!!!! If you discuss it maturely in private, I will give you my reasons. However, once a show is posted, the results are final and will not be changed, even if you offer a strong reason.

Any threads, posts that are racist or immoral or start flame wars will be deleted and the posters given a warning. Three times and you’re gone, that’s it.

Keep vulgarity and sexual innuendo down to a minimum. There are no age restrictions on the forums, and I will not be responsible for anyone seeing or hearing anything offensive. I will delete posts, threads that I feel break this rule, without explanation.

CHAMPIONSHIP RULES

- Champions MUST defend whenever I say. If yyou need a week off, let me know before I book the card. Once the card is booked, and you’re set to defend, you will need to defend or you will end up losing the title. Challengers however, can ask for the week off after booking and if they contact the champion and make an agreement on an ending that avoids a loss, it will be incorporated. However, if the challenger asks for the week off AFTER being booked, he forfeits his title shot and will be regulated to the end of the line. Note – you can NOT ask for a PPV week off, if you’re a champion! As a champion, you are required to appear at any and all PPVS that you are defending! IF there is NO way you can role-play, you will lose your title, and forfeit any potential rematch! Now, again; if both champ and challenger come to me with ideas that will avoid the above, I will listen, but it will be rare and the argument has to be sound!

- If a champion becomes inactive, quits, or otherwise cannot defend their title.. they will be booked in a match and lose it via pinfall to the new champion. However, it will be booked as a regular match and if they decide to fight to keep it, they have that option. However, if the challenger agrees to take the title via forfeit, then it can be considered an option.

- Rematches! I will allow rematch clauses on a CASE-BY-CASE basis. The following ways MAY be used to determine rematches.

a) A very close role play battle.

b) A storyline that demands said rematch, via the intensity of both role-plays and both competitors involvement.

c) A title defense on a weekly show, may be done specifically to allow a rematch at the PPV!

d) Champion needs the week off for an emergency, the title may be dropped to the challenger, but a rematch for a fair, equitable contest may be booked.

e) I feel like it

f) If you lose the title, but you role play HARD and ARGUE within your character the validity of deserving a rematch, you may get it.

Reasons you WON’T get a rematch.

A) You lose and then WHINE about it.

B) I feel like it

C) You have lost, but a new storyline with a new challenger for the champion is in place to be carried out

D) The storyline MAY job you to lose, so you can be moved to a HIGHER title ranking. I.E. if you’re the TV champion, and I want you to start going for the IC title, you may lose, and not get a rematch, to be moved up!

E) Other various reasons I may choose to use at my discretion.
REMINDER – This is like playing Dungeons and Dragons, I am the Dungeon Master, and you have created characters to play through MY World… so, please do not complain when you lose.. it won’t help you move up in the ranks.. take your losses and work them in to your next direction and prove to me you deserve to be recognized!!

House Show Rules.

We will allow house shows to be used to post Role-plays… I.E. you can do your role-play in the ring of a house show.. but that’s kind of a copout.. you will really need to showcase your writing talent if you choose to stand in the center of a ring, instead of creating your own backgrounds.

Final Rule – All rules are subject to change at my discretion, and any changes will be made PUBLIC in Special announcements. Finally, I have FINAL say, remember that!
