Of all the opponents I’m to face in the Elimination Chamber, Captain Marticus is the only one I find myself perhaps at a loss of words on how to respond, aside from our current mystery number six.  A little harder digging was necessary in this case, and since Marty isn’t one to really cause a ruckus in the locker rooms or in the ring, finding dirt on the guy was a bit more challenging.

 

First, let’s avoid the cliché dream promos, kiddo. The Christmas Carol one was funny, and I enjoyed it, and then you do so again against Toxic, but really, they’ve run their course.  Might I suggest a lighter snack before you go to bed, so these things don’t pop out so randomly and viciously?  Cool. Also, since you enjoyed over doing my little catch phrase, I’ll get right to the point and promise you’ll be bleeding like the rest, cause it’s no secret that when you step into the Elimination Chamber, you are messing with the best.

 

Quiet, the rest of you, I was talking about ME!

 

Well, Marty, somehow you’ve found yourself back in contention for the main championship here in the BWF.  After defeating Legend and McNasty to win the title, you floundered pretty quickly against Toxic, not putting up the kind of battle we’d come to expect from you.  Heck, you almost single handedly disgraced the value of the world title, by not giving a rat’s ass defending it.  Now, you put up a valiant effort against Toxic only to have Eliminator come in and screw the whole thing up.  But honestly, had you been a bit more involved with the match, worked harder leading up to it, and most importantly, didn’t throw out just one promo near the very end, well, maybe the momentum would have stayed in your favor.  Worse, Toxic would follow your example to an ever greater degree, and by the time I had the chance to hold this belt, it lost some of its luster.  Wrestlefest, this title main evented, and it did so at Hearts on Fire, but only because I elevated it with my desire.  I created the stir that got people noticing, and even at Wrestlefest when you won the title, people were already looking MY way. 

 

Admittedly, you’re probably the most entertaining of the lot I’m against at Happenstance, and when you are at your full potential, you’re likely the greatest threat against my becoming the Undisputed Champion.  Still, once we remove your penchant for creating odd dream like situations, you fall back down to the same level as the rest of them; and that’s always to my advantage.

 

Still, I’ll grant you a little leeway.  The battle with Eliminator took a lot out of you, I’m sure, but it seems you managed to end that a lot faster then expected, since he had nothing to do with your win Monday.  Actually, to that I have to scratch my head.. away from the sore spot, that is, and wonder what the hell Alexis was doing out there.  Once I reviewed the video tape and saw exactly what went down, I realized that even Captain Marticus hasn’t got a completely clean slate going into this encounter.

 

Of course, when that match was over, it was time to send a clear message to you that you’ve stepped into the pit of snakes, winning the match, and one quick strike later, and you were back out cold.  A taste of the Sweet Sound of Success, Kiddo, and now you know exactly what you’re up against. 

 

Now, aside from all that, you have had a decent career here, likely better then many of the athletes that come and go, and winning two matches against Legend is a pretty strong accomplishment.  Now, you talked about winning the title in only about five months? Legend said he did it in six? Do you honestly think these quick rises to fame mean anything?  In the end, as fast as you rose, you fell just as quickly, kind of like being on a swing that goes so high in the air, stops and immediately begins dropping back to Earth.  Where are you now? On the upswing perhaps?  Maybe, but come Happenstance you won’t be soaring any where near as high as you did at Wrestlefest.  In fact, better expect for the chains to suddenly break and for your face to plow into the hard dirt below. 

 

I have no chalk board to do any mathematical equations for ya, Marty, but rest assured that in the Elimination Chamber, there will be a lot of subtractions, and the sum left over will be me.  I mean, hey, I got a record to uphold here, don’t I?  Also, Kirlia questioned my use of visuals, I wonder what she’d have to say about yours? Anyone can play with dolls or make a flow chart.  How many can bowl a good game? Heh.There are people out there I need to make eat their words, and doubters to turn into believers. It’s a difficult process, but I feel I have the ability to do it. 

 

It’s been a week full of hard work for me, making sure that I’ve covered the basic aspects of all my opponents.  Check out the others if you want, and understand that where the Undisputed BWF Championship is concerned, there is not a soul on this green Earth, that wants it more then I.  GOT IT?
