It’s dark.
But that’s kind of expected when it’s dealing with Raizzor. However, the location certainly is
different. The Krymson Dragons; Raizzor
and Chamelion, are in a movie theater.
They are alone, sitting about midsection in the stadium like seats, and
on the huge THX sized screen, the latest promo from Sirus Moran is wrapping
up. Chamelion has a bag of popcorn in
his hands, and he’s munching away lazily. He absently offers the bag to Raizzor, who
holds up his hand to decline. As the
scene on the screen fades, the house lights come up and Chamelion stretches and
yawns.
“Oh man!
Now that’s the only way to watch a Brothers Grimm promo! Widescreen, THX
sound, the full package!”
Raizzor cocks his head to the side, his
thoughts running rampant in his mind, barely listening to Chamelion.
“And what a bunch of fiction! Sheesh! What did you think,
bro?”
Chamelion drops the popcorn bag in the seat
next to him, and turns towards his brother.
“Raizzor?”
Raizzor shakes his head, clearing away his
thoughts and turns back to his younger brother.
“Yes?”
“Are we
gonna do this, or not?”
Sighing, Raizzor nods. Chamelion smirks and turns towards the
camera.
“Welcome,
ladies and gentlemen, to the Dragons’ Movie Review! Today, we feature the latest segment from our
opponents for Happenstance; the Brothers Grimm!
First off, I have to say that the production values were decent, even if
a little under done for such a talented team.
Yet the comical aspect was, as always, on par with their level of
excellence. I especially enjoyed
Grifter’s play with the calculator.”
Raizzor remains silent, letting his brother
continue to ramble, but his features betray his desire to speak.
“Sirus
played his part to the hilt, even going so far as attempting to tug at the heart
strings of the American public, what with his cry of betrayal. But I have to say, in the end, I expect ‘Al’
to come away with best supporting actor.
Music wise… okay, there was no music, which is sad, because we all know
that music can drive a scene more powerfully then without.”
“Did
they deliver their message with clarity?
I guess, even if it was misguided.
It seems good ol’ Sirus has a mindset that suggests we did something
wrong to him? Or, more precisely, my brother did something wrong. News flash back atcha,
Sirus ol Buddy. It’s not all
about you! Hell, did you really expect
Raizzor to put aside his mission for the sake of..”
“Enough!”
Startled, Chamelion nearly bites his tongue,
and looks at Raizzor.
“Umm,
okay??”
Raizzor sighs again.
“Put the
game to rest, Little Brother. Sirus
wants some answers, then I will give him what he
asks. *turns to camera* But you’re not going to like
them. Sirus, you whine like a woman
scorned, her date not calling her the next day.
Have you not been paying any attention?
I know you better then anyone, and that act about being disengaged from
the real world is just that; an act. You
know what happened last year, before and at Genesis. You know the hell I went through finding out
my wife was supposedly dead. You
witnessed her return at Genesis, standing side by side with Draven.”
His features clench into a menacing scowl.
“It was
personal, my business with Draven. When
I was burned, I had to go into hiding for two reasons; one to fool Draven, and
two; to heal the emotional wreck I had become.
I battled internally with myself, needing to discover truly who, or what
I am. The battle between Raizzor and
Michael Sommers left a gaping wound that was filled with Salt by the events of
Genesis… and no one, not even my own flesh and blood could understand the pain
that I felt.”
“You DARE
be angry that I didn’t CALL? Are you
that selfish that you expect me to take into account the feelings of a man who
didn’t come LOOKING for me? The fault,
Sirus Moran, is yours, not mine. Yet
now, only when I am back at full power, climbing the rungs of the BWF ladder
with my brother, do you dare show yourself?”
“You
claim that our titles are not the reason, but I disagree. You have become addicted to them, and you even
admit it. Those ghost pains you speak
of, is like a drug addiction; the shakes you feel when you go so long without a
fix! It’s eating you up inside, seeing
us with the very titles you would claim as your own. And
yet, here we are, the Dragons as the BWF Tag Champions..
Two times before, we ruled over you and took the PWA titles from you, and now,
you seek redemption!”
“You play
the hurt man, crying foul that your feelings were not considered when I
returned to the public eye, but inside you were rejoicing; Not only would you return and try to reclaim
the very gold you so desired, but you would do so at the cost of the two men
you took upon yourself to hate. It’s
pathetic, Sirus, OLD FRIEND… because you know, deep inside, that the tables
have turned… it is the Dragons that are the cornerstone of the Tag-Team titles,
here in the BWF… and you and Grifter, are the outsiders, looking in the glass
window of the candy store… hungry, needing the sugar that is just that far out
of reach.”
“Then,
you bring up the past, citing those times that I turned against you! How does it feel now, to know what jealousy
tastes like? Is it bitter, does it not
sting your tongue, wishing to wash it away, like a bad memory? I admit that for a time, indeed, my jealousy
ruled me. The power I possessed was
passed by so that the PWA could have you shine as their alter boy, the chosen
one. I did bring you into the PWA, I
stood by your side, and when I was lost at the hands of my very own Nightmare…
you didn’t come looking for me then as well.
No, you took it upon yourself to take my place. Oh, there was jealousy alright, Sirus Moran;
but it was well deserved. You play the
part of boy scout, hiding the fact that you, in truth, are an egotistical
bastard!”
“Vertical. That is truly the one angle in which to
stand, and now, here in the BWF, the Soul-Taker stands firmly on the front
lines; fear absent, determination at the ready.
We will be waiting when Happenstance comes, the question is; will you
be?”
Raizzor crosses his arms and Chamelion
whistles in appreciation.
“Whoa! When he goes on a tangent, watch out!”
Ignoring Raizzor’s dark look, Chamelion
addresses us directly.
“Okay,
my turn! Sirus, let’s start with how you
say this is all about Raizzor and you would have been content to let me
slide. First, the Dragons are a team,
you come for one, you get both. That would be obvious even if this wasn’t for
the tag titles. We found a unity we
never had before, and our mutual need to continue our dominance here in the BWF
gives us an undeniable edge! Imagine if
we could best you twice in the PWA, even when not at our best, what we’re going
to do to you here?”
“Frankly,
I knew ‘Al’ could take care of himself.
Tossing him into the fans was purely a distraction, and it worked to a
‘T’!”
Pausing, Chamelion rubs his chin.
“What
exactly DOES that mean, anyway?”
Resuming, Chamelion shrugs off the curiosity;
for now.
“But now
you feel the need for ‘revenge’ in a way?
And Chamelion no longer is safe from your wrath? Oooh, I am soooo scared. Color me yellow! By now you should know that the hells I’ve
gone through in my life have calloused my skin to such
threats, especially from you. Sirus, pal, just like my brother; I know you. This ‘act’ of yours is as see through as a hot
girl’s nighty! Personally, I respect you
and Grifter for all of your accomplishments, but in turn, you continuously find
ways to dismiss ours? Easy you forget
the times I did best you in the ring… Rumble in the
With his

“Power
flows to the ones who know how; Desire alone, is not enough!”
Winking, Chamelion grins wide.
“GOT
IT?”
