My First Trip to NYC
I went with my mom to her Class Reunion from UP (University of the Philippines) in NYC from October 5-10. At first I wasn't sure if I should go because I was missing three days of school, but going to NYC was worth it! I stayed at Jersey City, NJ with my mom's friend. I roamed around Manhattan especially in Times Square. I saw SWING! and MISS SAIGON, and saw the whole city from the top of the World Trade Center. I did so much more, and now that i'm back home in Southern California, I miss NYC. I can't wait for the next time to go back!

Like mother, like daughter. Us at Rockefellar Plaza.

The Broadway Theatre, home of Miss Saigon until January 2001.

Here's me posing with the Engineer in Miss Saigon, Louyang Wang. He's a real nice guy. The best thing about meeting him was that he said it was cold outside and that my friends and I could go inside stage door if we wanted to. Whoa! Inside, I met the Thuy, Edmund Nalzaro. I ran out of film, and I didn't get to have a picture with him but he's a sweet guy too.

St. Patrick's Cathedral is HUGE! Not just huge but GORGEOUS! I've never seen a cathedral in person as beautiful as this one.

A blurry black and white photo with me in front of a giant Miss Saigon sign. It was so big, I couldn't resist not to take a picture with it!

SWING! Wish I could swing dance now.

It's freeeeeezing up more than one hundred stories on top of the World Trade Center. I got to see the whole city of New York at a glance, and it is pretty with all of it's lights. The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty seemed like little specks from where I was standing.

Me with the anticipation to see one of the most famous landmarks of the world, The Statue of Liberty!
