| Magic Cylinder Introduction: W0W! Our first trap card card of the day. This is another secret rare card of the day. I have a hard time deciding which one is better....Mirror Force (which I have) or Magic Cylinder. Pros: -Magic Cylinder negates the attack of one of your opponent's monsters and inflicts direct damage equal to the attacking monster's attack to your opponent's precious life points. Cons: -Now huge damage to your opponent's life points is always a very good thing, but then the attacking monster is still alive unless his/her life points runs out. But that problem, of course, can be solved by say....offering for a stronger or better monster or by drawing the card that you need to defeat the opponent or his/her monster(s). Conclusion: -I basically summed it up in the previous paragraph, but I think that both Mirror Force and Magic Cylinder are very effective when they do the highest damage they can do. But when they both do as little damage as they possibly can, I personally think that Magic Cylinder is microscopically better than Mirror Force because it has to inflict some direct damage to your opponent's life points. Overall rating: 4.5 *= ) |

| Today's COTD is Magic Cylinder. It's a Secret Rare card from LON. Yugi uses this card on the TV show. Okay, as a trap, the negate effect is useful. Even better, you also inflict damage on your opponent's LP. I do think that the direct damage effect is good, but it really depends how powerful the attacking monster is. This is a good card to have and should be played (especially in a Burn deck). Rating: 4.5 |
