If you have Exodia the F. One, the Right Arm of the Forbidden One, the L. Arm, R. Leg, and the L. Leg in your hand, you may declare an automatic victory. That sounds great, but that's IF you hold all the Exodia parts.
Doing this is extremely difficult if you do not have an Exodia Deck. Even if you do have an Exodia deck, you still may not succeed. Your opponent can easily ruin your goal by playing cards like Card Destruction or Exchange.
The basic strategy to assemble Exodia is to play a defensive deck ---- play high Def. monsters while trying to draw all 5 pieces of Exodia. That could take a very long time.
But, of course, there are many other strategies that can be used to assemble Exodia. Many monster effects, magic and trap cards can help also.
An automatic win is extraordinary, but assembling Exodia is extraordinarily hard. Exodia has ALOT of potential.

Pros:
-If you can assemble all five pieces of this puzzle, which includes the right arm of the Forbidden One, the left arm of the Forbidden One, the right leg of the Forbidden One, and the left leg of the Forbidden One in your hand, then you win the duel !
Cons:
-The pieces of Exodia are very, very weak.
-The chances of drawing the pieces are extremely low (12.5% chance of drawing one piece if you play with 40 cards).
Conclusion:
-I personally would not base my deck around the Exodia pieces and collect cards to help me draw out the pieces because suppose one of my pieces are on the very bottom of the deck, then it would be next to impossible for me to win. So I think if your going to use the Exodia pieces, then you should play it as apart of another deck. No one should base a deck on five cards.
