Culturing the Vinegar Eel

 

1 )?Require :??a ) Apple Cider Vinegar?

b ) Apple Juice / Apple slice

c ) Distilled water

d ) Bottle / Jug with cap

e ) Vinegar Eel

 

2 ) Fill the bottle with 3 part Apple Cider Vinegar and 3 part of Distilled water , then add 1 part Apple Juice

 

3 ) Add in the Vinegar Eel. Place the bottle cap on , but do no tighten.

 

4 ) Place them in a cool place.?Preferably somewhere dark.

 

5 ) Check them once a week. Usually reach peak population in +/- 1 month.

 

Methods of Collecting the Vinegar Eel for feeding

 

1 ) Siphon them out and filter them through a fine net ( less than 50 microns ). Rinse them with fresh water, feed them to your fries.

 

2 ) Slightly move the bottle to the left and right to get the surrounding of the bottle wet , wait for 1 ? days and you will see the vinegar eels climbing up the wall of the bottle. Collect them using a cotton bulb or finger.

 

Vinegar Eel will survive in fresh water tank for around 24 hours.

 

Culture them for your fish fries, They love it.
