Kai has got to be my favorite character in the entire show. Sure, as h*ll he ain't all that friendly or cheerful but I can explain. He was taken away from his father, whom he really liked, by his grandfather, whom he hated. This all happened when he was around 6-10 years old. He was forced to beyblade and, dispite what you may think, he doesn't really like to blade all that much. He was raised to be the best by his grandfather. His mother didn't do anything to prevent this but don't get the wrong idea, she cried when this was happening so I guess she couldn't. Ever since he was taken away from his father, he hasn't celebrated his birthday. He's rich but that doesn't really show until you see him and his grandfather eating dinner in a HUGE mansion. He enjoys being alone and is usually left alone due to his reputation of being a cold-hearted kid who will stop at nothing to get what he wants as long as it's kept a low profile, and in his case, it's searching for the ultimate beyblade/bitbeast. He's also the leader of the street sharks but was forced into joining the blade breakers. He doesn't get a choice a lot of times does he? His Dranzer was a gift from his father when he was around 12 years old. He spends a lot of his time training for tournaments. Not to mention insulting and getting Tyson angry. Kai angers quickly and other than anger, he doesn't really show a lot of emotion. Also his grandfather's fault. He does resort to violence but on rare occasions. He's wise in battle and it's because of him that the blade breakers got as far as they did. It's pointless for me to say the people he gets along well with because there aren't that many. Only Stewart, Trevor, Casey, Ray, and his father have been on his good side. He is very attached to his bitbeast Dranzer and is constantly pushing it to perfection by countless hours of training.
