| 16. My Enemy, My Friend Its Ray's turn to go up against his old teammates! Its Ray vs. Mariah. But Kai wonders if he'll be able to do it. Tyson and Max tell Kai that their sure he won't dissapoint them. The first round begins! The battle is intense a little at first,but then everyone figures out that Ray isn't paying attention that much and a few seconds later Mariah wins the first round! Everyone is dissapointed since it was not much of a battle. Kai tells Ray to wake up and get used to the fact that he's facing his old teamate.The 2nd round begins and Mariah tells Ray to actually try this time. Ray does and beats Mariah. The score is tied with 1 a piece(this always seems to happen). The final round begins and the action is intense and the fans are finally happy as a real Beyblade hardcore match is going on! Mariah and Ray both admit that their finally having fun again. And they don't care who wins. The 2 blades clash and the winner comes to be Ray! That's 1 for the white tigers and 1 for the Blade Brakers! Now its time for the final match: Tyson vs.Lee! b: 24-Aug-2002 pc: 116 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17. A Score to Settle Its time for the deciding match of the Asian finals! Its Tyson vs. Lee. The two most powerful bladers on each team are going at it. The field they must battle on is a Desert like field, so that just makes the battle even harder. The first round begins, Lee really shows what he's made of with his powerful bit beast Galleon. He attacks Tyson head on and pushes him so much that it knocks his blade out of the ring!Round 1 goes to Lee! Kenny and Kai help Tyson figure out a new strategic maneuver against Lee. The 2nd round begins and Lee tries the same attack again,but this time Tyson is ready and tricks Lee into going into the quicksand, thus giving Tyson the 2nd round win! Lee is pretty ticked off at this.His rage is much worse and unpleasent than Gary's. Its now time for the final battle, and Lee gives everything he's got into it! Dragoon and Galleon go head on in an ultimate clash of powers in the air, its like some big tornado.Finally the beyblades fall, and they both land out of the ring!!! So a tie breaker is to be held. Tyson is about to go to the ring,but Ray tells him that its his fight. So the final showdown is former captain vs. current captain of the white tigers!Ray Vs.Lee! The battle starts and Lee is putting everything he's got into smashing Ray and getting his bit beast drigger. Lee uses all of his teammates attacks against Ray in an ultimate assault. The battle goes down to the wire,but Ray tells Lee that he has learned so much since he left his old team about Beyblading. Ray tells Drigger to attack and Lee loses!!!The bladebrakers have won the Asian Tournament! A Star is Born Tyson and the Bladebrakers return to Japan for some R+R until they have to leave for the USA tournament. But it seems Tyson is so caught up in being a celebrity that he gets in a fight with Kenny, so the chief takes Tyson's blade from him til he learns some new respect. Tyson runs into a kid who's blade has been smashed to pieces by a bully. Tyson takes the kid to Max's house to fix his blade. After seeing this,Kenny returns the blade.Working together they're able to fix the youngster's blade.His blade is now as good as new. Now its time for battle, as the youngster and the bully come to blows in a blading battle against each other. The boy ends up winning and in the end him and the bully become friends. Tyson, and the others leave to get ready for the American tournament. b: 31-Aug-2002 pc: 118 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19. Under the Microscope The Bladebrakers reach America at last.Surprisingly though, when they arrive, Tyson's Grandpa appears with a spectacular embarrasing show for the crowd. Ray arrives with the bus and the bladebrakers go to the BBA research center. They get a tour by one of the workers and Max runs into his mom. They reach the area where their students train hard to improve. Max's Mom's assistant gloats about how much better they are than the Bladebrakers.So naturally, Tyson challenges them to a match. The first round is Tyson vs. some weird dude who uses sound to make blade go up in the air, Tyson has a little trouble at first,but soon, he is able to beat him with no problem.Next is Ray, he faces off against another weird dude who uses bright colors(come on,this is getting lame). The dude tries to beat Ray by blinding him with the light,but it has no affect on Ray and the battle is overwith. The final match is Max vs. his mothers assistant. This battle is over with before you can say ABC. She beats Max easily with no problem. Tyson gloats on how they weren't even a challenge,but they find out that they were being used as test subjects and that the students they fought were some of the weakest in the class. Tyson and the others are mad that they were used as lab rats, and Max is dissapointed in his mother. b: 01-Sep-2002 pc: 119 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20. All Relative The bladebrakers are enjoying lunch at the BBA. Grandpa gives them some advice and how not to be downers, that they could keep trying. Then when Tyson calls his Grandfather old, he of course puts on a show for everyone there.Tyson decides that its time to split and go sneak around the place and look at the other floors in the 10 floor building(in which they've only seen one floor so far).They sneak through the air vents and hallways and reach the 3rd floor. Everyone is amazed at the advanced stadiums and hard drives that they have there. Meanwhile, they are being watched by some mysterious man who is watching security cameras. They next reach the 4th floor and are amazed to find sports arenas for different sports everywhere in the room. Next they go to the next floor,but have to get through some security lasers.Meanwhile,Kai starts looking for them when he notices that they've been gone for a good 2 hours. They're almost to the end of the lasers,when Max notices that his Mom is coming and goes after her.He stupidley sets off the alarm and is about to get hit by somthing when Kai comes in and saves him. They get blocked off by a hard glass wall, and Max's mom tells them to go back the way they came. Then 2 students who have sports beyblades and launchers come in and tell them that their a bunch of losers and were stupid to come this far. Ray gets mad and challenges the football dude to a battle. They battle and the dude uses an artificial bit beast to clobber Ray,but Ray put up a good fight. They allow them to leave without being told on if they leave now, so they decide to leave,but Tyson promises that they won't lose in the Tournament. Meanwhile, in the security room Max's mom tells the guy that he was correct in thinking that they'd sneak around. The 2 sport bladers admit that they were quite a challenge. Back on the bus, Tyson and the others wonder if they can beat the BBA team. Kai tells everyone that they learned some things about them today and that even he was worried about the BBA team and what strategy to use against them in their match. b: 07-Sep-2002 pc: 120 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21. Practice Makes Perfect The episode starts with Kenny having a bad dream about the football dude from the BBA. He wakes up and finds an email from Mr.Dickerson saying that they are to follow his directions to a training camp for them. They drive out to the "training camp" and find that nothing is there but an old cabin and nature. Everyone wonders why Mr.Dickerson sent them there.A boy named Antonio arrives and tells them that he's the best blader where he lives,but they soon find out that he kinda sucks. He takes them on many training courses,but things don't go so well. Meanwhile, Ray and Kenny find a room with stuff for them to fix Ray's Beyblade with so that it'll stand a chance against the BBA team. That night, Kai figures out a way to get everyone to practice better, so he teaches Antonio some moves to beat Tyson in a battle. The next morning, Tyson and Antonio battle and Tyson gets whooped. Tyson remembers how much he practiced in the past and how it improved his blade so much.Now that everyone is motivated properly they begin the real training.The next morning Ray gets his blade fixed properly and feels that nothing can beat his drigger now. Everyone feels that they have improved and Antonio hopes to see them at the tournament. A charity event in the Heartland of America gives the Bladebreakers a taste of the All Starz' prowess. Featuring celebrities in a three-on-three contest against young Beybladers of note, Emily of the All Starz, bullies her way to an easy win. Showdwn in Vegas The Bladebreakers arrive in Las Vegas for the start of the American Tournament. Viva Las Vegas The Blade Breakers have advanced to the second round of the American Tournament where they square off against the Savage Slammers. The winner of this round advances to the semi-finals. Their competition first appears to be a bunch of slackers, but when Ray loses out in the first round, they quickly realize what they're up against. Max is next, and for some odd reason, his rival folds under pressure, so the best of three is tied at one a piece with Tyson coming in for the deciding battle. At first it looks like a quick win for the Slammers simply because of the size of his opponents enormous Beyblade and things get even more tense when Tyson begins to lose his temper and his focus. The other Breakers convince him to concentrate and when he does, Tyson pull off the victory. Next, our heroes decide to check out the American Team who are competing in another stadium. My Way of the Highway It's the Bladebreakers versus Spintensity in the semi-finals of the American Tournament. But before the match can begin, Tyson is forced to withdraw with a stomachache he got from too much celebratory eating. During the battle Kai says that he should keep attacking TryHorn (Steve's BeyBlade)even though it's stronger. Tyson went on a head-on attack. TryHorn's momentum went down greatly, and Steve was starting to go crazy. Tyson used his Storm Attack and blew TryHorn outta the arena. Next Match- Eddy VS. Ray Eddy has a basketball launcher, and once he smashes it on the ground, it rips open and reveals his BeyBlade TryPio. Eddy then pulls his really really long ripcord. The battle has begun and TryPio has defeated Driger very easily in Round 1. In Round 2 TryPio still defeated Driger give both teams one point a piece. Next Match- Michael VS. Max b: 28-Sep-2002 pc: 126 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 28. Bottom of the Ninth The final match is about to begin. The chief says that Max doesn't stand a chance cause Michael's BeyBlade (Trygle) is much stronger. The first match is about to begin, and wouldn't you know it? The stadium is a BaseBall field. Max lost the first round pretty quick. In the second round, Max managed to use the fences to hold off Trygle's attack. Meanwhile, Judy (Max's mom) thaught to herself that now is the time for Max to prove that spirit is stronger than science. Max's Draciel then became stronger, knocking Trygle out of the field. The 3rd match was about to begin, Michael now used his right hand to launch instead of his left. Once he threw his baseball, it was on fire, literally, Trygle came out and attacked Draciel. Max used all of his strength and spirit and made Draciel much stronger. Cruising For a Bruising The Blade Breakers are on the ship to the Russian Tournament when Kenny feels seasick. Tyson leads Kenny around, trying to tell him to feel better, as he was trying to take Kenny's mind off of the ship. They meet up with Max and Ray, and they decide that it's time to start training. Kai is inside the cargo room, training by himself. When Chief decides against Tyson, Max, and Ray training against amateurs, he decides that Tyson should run laps around the ship, Max should go to the weight room, and Ray should start swimming. Meanwhile, in the amateur Beyblade room, some kids challenge a guy with purple hair in a weird outfit. After Tyson gets bored of running, he goes to the amateur Beyblade room and sees broken Beyblades everywhere. He learns the source of the damage is the guy with purple hair, and Tyson challenges him to a battle. Meanwhile, Chief, Ray, and Max run to the room to see what's going on, and Kai just shows up out of nowhere. The battle begins, and Tyson's Beyblade is being overpowered by his opponent. Tyson calls upon Dragoon, but Tyson's opponent simply laughs and calls upon his Bit Beast, Griffolyon. Griffolyon is three times the size of Dragoon, and Dragoon isn't ready to attack. Tyson's opponent easily wins the battle, and says that Tyson is unworthy. The guy also mentions his name is Robert, and he leaves. Kai says that the Blade Breakers need to remember this, as they will be facing the world's best at the Russian Tournament. b: 12-Oct-2002 pc: 130 |
| 1. The Blade Raider Tyson is at home practicing martial arts with his grandfather when suddenly he realizes he's late for a Beyblade battle with Andrew. As he runs out of his house he's confronted by a couple of bullies who only slow him up for his real battle. But when Tyson does show up, Andrew and his friends are met by a smart mouthed kid named Carlos who's a member of the notorious Blade Sharks. Carlos challenges anyone to a battle but the winner gets to keep the others Beyblades. Tyson accepts. With the help of Kenny and his Bit Beast Dizzi, who's trapped inside his laptop, Tyson prepares for the big battle, which he handily wins. But the just when the fight is over, the Blade Sharks' leader Kai shows up and a new battle begins between Kai and Tyson. b: 06-Jul-2002 pc: 101 NOTE: Symposis taken from beyblade.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Day of the Dragoon Tyson battles Kai one on one, but to his surprise, Tyson quickly loses. The Chief informs Tyson, that in order to beat Kai, you need a strategy, so Tyson goes home in an attempt to practice until he's perfected his fighting technique. Later that day, Andrew and Kenny, along with Dizzi show up and attempt to increase the power of Tyson's blade to match that of Kai, but with little success. Tyson is feeling glum about his chances of ever beating Kai, but suddenly, out of nowhere, the Bit Beast Dragoon appears and flyes straight towards him and goes directly into Tyson's beyblade. Tyson is stunned after realizing Dragoon does exists and is now inside his beyblade. Bladin' In The Streets Tyson and his new team, the Bladebreakers, prepare for the World Championships. Kai seems to reject his newfound team and leads them on a chase through the streets. Showdown in Hong Kong Our heroes arrive in Hong Kong on a stop-over to the Asian World Championships when they run into Ray's old gang, the White Tigers. Naturally, a Beyblade battle quickly ensues. b: 28-Jul-2002 pc: 109 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10. Battle in the Sky Tyson and the rest of the Blade Brakers arrive in the China Towers, where the BBA (Beyblade Battle Association) Tournament is being held. They are in team A, so they will eventually have to fight the White Tigers, the defending champs, who are in team B. Their first battle is with the Tall Boys. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #1: Andre (from the Tall Boys) VS Ray Andre and Ray's match get started. Right off from the beginning, Ray seems to be losing. It looks like the Yak power form Andre's blade is to much for him. Andre even had a chanse to annihilate Ray but he kept toying with him. Ray eventually got his revenge back and with Drigger's power, he won. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #2: Waylan VS Max Max gets an early advantage, but when Waylan starts to turn up the heat, it looks like Max is toast. And when I say, turn up the heat, I mean that literally. Waylan's Beyblade has the power of heat, so as long as it is spinning it will make the temperature hotter. But, his Beyblade won't be spinning forever, and all Max has to do is wait for it to stop spinning. He almost doesn't make it, but when Waylan's blade slowed down, Max gave it his all and won. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #3: Tommy VS Tyson Tommy used a leg launcher to give him more speed and the power of Kickboxing. It seems that Tyson's Dragoon is no match for Tommy's blade. But, when Dragoon uses his Dragoon Storm attack, it's lights out for Tommy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As soon as they finished, the Blade Brakers go to Stadium B to check out their competition. It looks like the White Tigers won their first match with no problems at all. While Max, Kenny, and Ray worry that they won't be strong enough to beat the White Tigers, Tyson is really exited to show them that he and his team mean business. And as always Kai, is just there in the corner ignoring everyone and being ignored. b: 03-Aug-2002 pc: 110 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11. Bye Bye Bit Beast First you see the room where The Blade Breakers are sleeping. Kenny is working with Dizzi to analyze the White Tiger's Bit-Beasts. Kevin ( a White Tiger member) is sneaking around. Mariah catches him and he says that he wants to steal or destroy Ray's Beyblade (namely, his Driger). She tells Kevin that there's nothing she hates more than a snoop. Kevin proceeds to take Ray's Blade, but decides to steal the data from Kenny's Laptop. Whilst Kenny is taking a break, he downloads the data to a disk and just as it finishes downloading, Kenny comes in and chases Kevin. They end up outside in the rain at the Training Dishes. Kevin and Ray have a battle so Ray can win back the disk. Kevin uses his Galman and Ray uses Driger. Eventually Kevin releases his Bit-Beast...Galman! Ray's Driger shows up and Kevin starts pleading for Ray not to trash his Blade because they were friends. Then it all goes black. Ray is standing there with Driger. Driger turns and looks at Ray, then kinda explodes and shoots into the sky, then finally disappears. Ray was fighting half-hearted so he lost his Bit-Beast forever. Just as Driger is lost, Li (the White Tiger's leader) wakes up suddenly and sees Mariah at the window. Tyson battles Kevin to win the disk back. He wins when Dragoon is released. Kevin keeps his word and gives the disk back. Back at the White Tiger's room, Mariah is saying that her feelings for Ray will never change. Kai walks past Ray and asks what kind of Blader is he if he lets his past with the White Tigers get in the way and now he has been left with nothing. b: 04-Aug-2002 pc: 111 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12. Adios Bladebreakers Ray feels that now that he dosen't have his Bit Beast any more, he isn't good enough to be on the Bladebrakers. He goes to the mountains to find it again, but instead he finds Mariah. She reminds him of all the good times he had on the White Tiger team, and also how he won in the past without his Bit Beast. which makes him reconcider joining them again. But they Max and Tyson finds them. Tyson wants Ray to stay on the Bladebreakers, but Ray isn't sure. Tyson chalenges Ray to a match. If Tyson wins, Ray has to come back to the Bladebreakers, but if Ray wins, he can go to whatever team he wants. Tyson puts up a good fight, but still loses. Ray decides to still stay on the Bladebreakers, seeing how they need his help more than the White Tigers do. b: 10-Aug-2002 pc: 112 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13. Crouching Lion, Hidden Tiger It's the White Tiger's turn to show everyone how tough they really are. They are matched up against another team, The Spin-Shepards, who they think is going to be a sintch. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #1: Gary VS Bobby Bobby and most of his team rely on their Wool Defense to outlast their oponents. Even with Gary's strong Bit Beast, Galzzy, Bobby manage to beat him with his Wool Defense. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #2: Mariah VS Doug Doug, who also used the Wool Defense, thought that Mariah was going to be easy seeing how Gary did. But Mariah proved him wrong. Her Galux's Scratch attack not only defeat Doug, but it ripped his Beyblade into pieces. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROUND #3: Lee VS Bruno Bruno's heavy attack didn't do him any good. Lee wipes him out useing the 'Tiger Claw' attack. Ray, and the rest of the Bladebreakers we're surpised at seeing Lee use the Tiger Claw attack. Lee then discribed his past to Ray's teamembers. He said that they grew up together, praticing their Beyblade techniques. They were the best of freinds. Lee's grandfather gave Ray his Driger Bit Beast. Lee wasn't mad, he was happy to see it go to someone who would use it wisely. He thought if their friendship could last that, that it could last through anything. But Ray left with the Bit Beast and Lee vowed to practice until they meet again, where he would claim the Driger his. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the Bladebreakers match, Tyson managed to beat Ronnie's oversised Beyblade. When Ray was in battle, his Bit Beast came back to him. b: 11-Aug-2002 pc: 113 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 14. The Race is On! The team is ready for the sem-finals, except Tyson who is still sleeping. Ray stays behind when the rest of the team goes to the BeyStadium to wake Tyson up. They get there and it's time for their match, so Max goes to battle Chucky and his homemade Blade. He stalls out as long as he can, to give Tyson and Ray a chanse to get there in time. Tyson and Ray are on their way, when a rock slide makes it imposible for thier vehicle to go on. They decide to climb up the mountain. Ray twists his ankle tough and Tyson has to carry him there. Meanwhile, Max is still stalling for time, and Chuckie and his team thinks he is toying with them so he finished they up quickly. Kai goes to battle in the 2nd round since Ray and Tyson didn't show up yet. He finished they off quickly, though. It seems like they have to forfit, but at the last minute Tyson and Ray get there. Kevin, from the White Tigers, admits to Mariah that he caused the rock slide. Tyson takes on the last of the Blade Hunter and wins another victory and is qualified to go to the finals. b: 17-Aug-2002 pc: 114 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15. Going for the Gold The day has finally arrived! The Asian Tournament finals are today.The Blade Brakers Vs. The White Tigers. Who will win this clash of powerful blades?The finals first round begins and its Max Vs. Gary. Gary's bit beast is a powerful bear, against Max's Draciel. The battle consists of the best out of 3 rounds. The first round is a hardcore battle and Max has to struggle to get away from Gary's bit beast. Finally he is able to trick Gary and is able to win the first round! That's one for Max. But Gary isn't too happy at all. His rage is so powerful that his bit beast goes crazy and in the 2nd round he plummels Max's blade.That's 1 round a piece. Tyson and Kenny figure out a strategy for Max to use against Gary, so Max decides to try it. The 3rd round starts and Gary's Bit beast is even more powerful than the last time! The 2 blades go at it and the whole blade circle arena crumbles into a bunch of rocks. Max's blade is buried underneath it. London Calling The kids are at a halfway mark,South New Hampshire.A man says that the boat will leave in 6hrs.When the kids come back a guy said it left an hour ago.So Ray takes then to the BBA British Office in London.They then see a picture of Robert.The lady who works there says he was last months champ.She brings them to a hotel where they get a tape.It is Tyson's father.He says the sacred spirits of the past are bit-beasts.He explains that there are evil bit-beasts too.Soon after,they are talking about the tape where an evil man swipes Tyson's Beyblade.They soon encounter an evil bit-beast,and has Tyson's blade.Draciel and Driger cannot help.It's up to Kai to save the day.He saves their blades,but the evil guy said they will meet again.They soon encounter many more in the next episode. b: 19-Oct-2002 NOTE: Dizzi does not appear in this episode. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 32. Last Tangle in Paris The Blade Breakers arrive in Paris to see the sights. Kenny has a nightmare about the Dark Bladers, the group of four evil guys with evil Bit Beasts. Kai goes off on his own to train and develop new moves, while Max, Ray, Tyson, and Kenny go sightseeing. They arrive at the Eiffel Tower, and Max and Ray check out the bottom floor while Tyson and Kenny are on the top floor. They see some interesting sights when all of a sudden the Dark Blader that looks like a werewolf appears hanging on the window in front of them. Tyson readies his Beyblade but the Dark Blader disappears. Tyson and Kenny turn and see all four of the Dark Bladers: a vampire, a werewolf, a zombie, and a mummy, behind them, each ready with their Beyblades for a battle. The leader, who is a vampire named Sanguanex, challenges Tyson for his Bit Beast again just like last time in the tunnel. The battle begins and Tyson is completely losing to all four of the Dark Bladers. Ray and Max hear the commotion and run to the top floor and join in the battle against the Dark Bladers, but are still losing because they are outnumbered. As the four Bit Beasts prepare to finish off Driger, Draciel, and Dragoon, Kai sees what's going on from his spot of training by a statue. Kai arrives on the scene with a new and improved launcher, and joins the battle as well, making the battle between the Blade Breakers and the Dark Bladers equal. Kai's Dranzer attacks the vampire Bit Beast, Drac Attack, taking it out, and Sanguanex gets mad. Zom, Sinotaph, and the werewolf guy try to avenge Sanguanex, but Dragoon beats the mummy, Draciel beats the zombie, and Driger beats the werewolf, giving the Blade Breakers the victory. The Dark Bladers explain their origin of how a long time ago they were each defeated by mighty Bit Beasts and wanted revenge on them. The Dark Bladers leave, and a kid with green hair and weird clothes comes up to the Blade Breakers, calling them all rookies, and leaving. Tyson gets angry and is determined to challenge the kid to a battle. b: 26-Oct-2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 34. Art Attack The Blade Breakers explore Paris some more while Kai leaves and trains on his own once again. Max goes to a library and sees a magazine about the kid they had met at the end of the last episode, whose name is Olliver. He learns Olliver is a master Beyblader. Ray goes to a French restaurant and sees an award with Olliver's picture on it, and a chef explains that Olliver is a master chef as well. Tyson and Kenny meet up with Olliver, and Olliver shows them around through a museum that he rented out. Tyson and Kenny sit down to a feast prepared by Olliver, and Tyson challenges Olliver to a Beyblade battle. Olliver remarks how he would never want to battle a rookie, but decides to accept anyway. Kenny and Tyson go with Olliver to the middle of a park, as Olliver explains that he likes to be surrounded by beauty when he battles. The battle begins and Tyson holds his own against Olliver for a while. However, Olliver's Bit Beast Unicolyon, a white, unicorn Bit Beast emerges and attacks Dragoon, dealing powerful damage. Tyson notices that Unicolyon is even bigger than Robert's Griffolyon. Ray and Max meet up and see that a battle is happening in the park, and run to the scene of the battle, cheering Tyson on. Kai watches from behind a tree. Tyson refuses to lose another battle to a giant Bit Beast and keeps going, though the odds are against him. Tyson uses Dragoon's Storm attack, but Olliver counters it. As a last ditch effort, Tyson uses all his willpower and directs it into a massive attack against Olliver's Beyblade. Olliver's Beyblade and Tyson's Beyblade leave the arena at the same time, and the match is declared a draw. Olliver becomes angry and leaves, and Tyson is disappointed that he lost. However, he feels that in Rome, their next destination, he will win any battle. b: 27-Oct-2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 35. When in Rome... Beyblade The Blade Breakers arrive in Rome, and are told to meet Enrique, who is one of the world's best Beybladers. Their chase leads them to a large mansion, where they meet a strange kid with blond hair. The kid leaves, and the Blade Breakers continue into an Italian marketplace. There they see the blond-haired kid again, trying to pick up some girls. Tyson hears the girls call the kid Enrique, and Tyson challenges Enrique. Enrique says he won't battle a rookie, but Tyson says Enrique is scared and Enrique accepts the battle. Tyson and the Blade Breakers arrive at a Roman coliseum, the location of the battle against Enrique. Enrique comes out in a Roman warrior outfit, and says that he'll use the whole coliseum as the arena. The battle begins, and Tyson is already losing to Enrique. Enrique's Bit Beast, an orange dragon-like Bit Beast called Amphylyon, emerges and attacks Dragoon, knocking Tyson's Beyblade off balance. Tyson remarks that Amphylyon is even bigger than Griffolyon and Unicolyon. Dragoon manages to escape Amphylyon's attack, but Tyson is shocked to learn that Amphylyon has two heads, and attacks Dragoon right on. Soon the battle is over, with Enrique the winner. Enrique says that Tyson has no control over his Bit Beast and will never win unless he controls it. b: 02-Nov-2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 36. Deja Vu All Over Again Tyson reviews his battle against Enrique in his head, frustrated that he lost. Enrique, in the meantime, is with the girls and can't stop thinking about his battle with Tyson. The Blade Breakers meet up with Enrique again, and Tyson challenges Enrique to a rematch. Enrique feels that he hasn't proved anything to Tyson yet and accepts. The Blade Breakers return to the Roman coliseum, and Enrique is this time accompanied with Olliver, who met up with Enrique a little while before. The battle begins, and is pretty much the same as last time, with Amphylyon dominating over Dragoon. Tyson has a strategy, however, and has Dragoon weave in between the two heads of Amphylyon. Amphylyon's heads smash together, and become angry with each other. Enrique gets mad at them and tells them to stop it, and Amphylyon turns on Enrique and attacks him. Olliver tells Enrique that nothing can stop a Bit Beast that is out of control. Tyson has Dragoon prevent Amphylyon from causing any more harm to Enrique, and Amphylyon wraps up Dragoon, trapping him. Kai tells Tyson to have Dragoon go upwards, and Tyson heeds the advice. Dragoon flies into the air, and Amphylyon loses its grip and falls to the ground, and Tyson has his Beyblade finish the match and defeats Enrique and Amphylyon. Enrique, however, is more in shock about Amphylyon than his loss, and hopes he can get Amphylyon back under control. Tyson realizes that now he must challenge Robert to a rematch in order to restore his reputation as a top Beyblader. b: 03-Nov-2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 37. Olympia Challenge Robert, Olliver, Enrique, and Johnny are disgusted at the fact that the Blade Breakers are still at their mansion, eating all of their food. Tyson demands that they won't leave until he gets his rematch with Robert. Robert refuses, though is tempted to give in as he finds the Blade Breakers to be a royal nuisance. Ray comes up with a better idea that the Blade Breakers should challenge the four European champions as a team. Robert and the others ponder the idea while the Blade Breakers goof around some more. Robert comes to the conclusion that the four European champions will battle the Blade Breakers, only if the rules are that if the Blade Breakers lose, the four Europeans are in the Russian Tournament. The Blade Breakers accept, and the best two-out-of-three match will be held in the Olympia Stadium. The Blade Breakers prepare in the back, and come to the conclusion that Ray will fight in the first round, Kai will fight in the second, and Tyson will fight in the third. The name of the European champions is decided to be the Majestics, and the four draw cards to see who will battle. Enrique is set to be on the bench. First up is Ray against Olliver. The battle begins, and Olliver is confident that Unicolyon could easily finish off Driger. However, Ray shocks everyone as he manages to have Driger fend off Unicolyon's attacks. Olliver uses Unicolyon's Earth Shake attack, trying to throw Ray's Beyblade off balance. Ray manages to hold on, and after more battling, there is an epic clash and both Beyblades fly out of the ring, making Round One between the Blade Breakers and the Majestics a tie. The Blade Breakers congratulate Ray on a job well done. b: 09-Nov-2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 39. A Majestic Battle... A Majestic Victory? Round Two of the battle between the Blade Breakers and the Majestics is underway. It is a rematch between Kai and Johnny. Kai is still angry about his previous loss to Johnny, and the battle begins with Kai giving it his all. The others try to assist him, but Kai demands that they leave him alone, as he can beat Johnny by himself. Johnny calls upon his Bit Beast, Salamulyon, and it wraps up Dranzer, trapping it. Kai is desperate, and Tyson tells him to think of his match against Enrique, when Dragoon had been wrapped up by Amphylyon. Kai remembers, but still demands Tyson to stay out of it. Kai heeds the advice, however, and has Dranzer fly upward, so Salamulyon loses its grip and falls to the ground, defeated. Kai finishes the match with a mighty Fire Arrow attack, giving the Blade Breakers the lead against the Majestics. Johnny doesn't understand why he lost, but Robert ignores him as Round Three is about to begin with Tyson against Robert. The match begins, and Robert is shocked at the power Tyson wields with his Dragoon. The Majestics notice that the Blade Breakers are working as a team, and decide that is why they are losing. Olliver suggests they try to work like a team, though they never have before. Johnny tries to interfere, but the Dark Bladers show up again and stop him. Sanguanex, the leader of the Dark Bladers, says that Tyson has some sort of light in him that makes him cheer him on. The battle continues, and Tyson finally gains the upper hand, leaving Robert frustrated. Finally, Tyson finishes the match with a Phantom Storm attack, and Round Three goes to the Blade Breakers, giving them the win against the Majestics. The Majestics and Dark Bladers congratulate the Blade Breakers, and the Blade Breakers head off to Moscow for the Russian Tournament and the World Championship finals. b: 09-Nov-2002 NOTE: 1.ABC Family says this was Season Finale though 12 episodes are left. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 40. Hot Battle in a Cold Town The Bladebreakers arrive in Moscow on a brisk winter's day in anticipation of the World Beyblading final tournament. As they search for their hotel in the chilly city, they happen upon Boris, a strange man who claims to be the head of a rather eerie Beyblading training center. With the charm of an old world count, Boris invites them to lunch and them brings them to the training facility where they meet the next generation of Beybladers. It's here where Boris decides that one of his pupils should test his blading skills against Tyson. Our heroes are led into a rather stark, castle-like chamber which houses nothing more than a Beystadium and here Tyson takes on a young kid named Alexander. At first the battle is in favor of Alexander, but with Kai's help, Tyson quickly turns the tide and wins with his patented Phantom Hurricane Attack. Now comes the weird part! With his lose, Alexander's Beyblade is crushed under Boris' foot and the young lad is dragged off in disgrace much to the confusion of the Bladebreakers who quickly leave. At first it seems strange that Robert would do this, but Tyson accepts and a battle ensues with Tyson losing two straight. He becomes infuriated! Robert then tells Tyson that he must harness his power back into his blade, which totally confuses Tyson. Finally, Kenny tells Tyson to remember a battle he had against Robert back in his castle. That's where Tyson realized he must work together with his Bit Beast. With this knowledge, a third battle takes place and Tyson defeats Robert. But the question still remained, why did the Majestics want to challenge our heroes to a battle for no apparent reason? In the end, it turns out Mr. Dickenson set this whole 'lesson' up to get the Bladebreakers ready for the final match with the Demolition Boys. With a new outlook and positive thinking, Tyson's confidence translates into a more powerful Dragoon, which handily defeats Tala.
