THE STORY OF GEAR
 

In the 22nd century, mankind succeeded in harnessing super natural power that could produce unlimited energy.
It was the beginning of a magical civilization.

Mankind thus prohibited the advancement of science as it caused environmental disruption and produced weapons of mass destruction,
and then declared the cessation of all scientific operations.

However, this did not mean the end of war in the history of mankind...

A global war soon erupted and warfare based on magic became extremely fierce.
Eventually, mankind produced biological weapons possessing superhuman vitality and strength, utilizing animals and other organic material…

This was the birth of the "GEAR".

A highly advanced country attempted to bring other countries under their control by monopolizing the creation of Gears.

However, a rebel of superior mental and physical strength emerged, even though the Gears were supposed to be obedient to humans.
He called himself  "Justice", and began to gather Gears throughout the world.
He then went on to declare a war on all human beings, asserting the significant existence of Gears.
Meanwhile, the governments of the world united immediately and organized a group elite warriors,
called the " Seikishi-Dan " ( Order of the Holy Knights ) to destroy the Gears.

This marked the beginning of the " Crusade ", the war between humans and Gears which lasted for a 100 years ......

After many violent battles, the humans eventually suppressed the Gears and imprisoned Justice in a "Dimensional Prison".
Having lost their commander, it was only a matter of time before the Gears would be defeated.

However, a few years after the end of the " Crusade ", the shield surrounding the "Dimensional Prison" began to weaken.
The United Nations quickly organized an open martial arts tournament to determine who would become the next Second  "Seikishi-Dan ".
The winner would then be awarded whatever he desires ......

While the world seemed to have gone in peace after the death of Justice, it was not long before this silence was shattered.
In less than a year after the tournament, findings of Gears back in movement were reported despite their leader no longer being present.
More peculiarly, the Gears seemed to be moving on their own mind, although not attacking human beings.
Seeing this as a sign of danger, especially in a time when nations were once again thinking of using Gears for their own benifit, citizens of the world rose up to fight.
