Luke Skywalker
Anyone who knows me at all, knows just how crazy for Luke I really am. Come on people, let's face facts. Luke is just so adorable and of course to me, the best Jedi there is. Now, I know some of you are into the Phantom Menace, and though it was a great film, Luke is still number one in my heart. I could never be swayed into thinking otherwise.
Even since his first appearance on screen in Star Wars: A New Hope, Luke Skywalker astounded me not only with his boyish charms, but also his loyalty to the Rebellion. Then through his training with Yoda, you see a change in him. Though still the headstrong young man Yoda deems "too old to begin the training", Luke must 'unlearn what he has learned' in order to open himself up to the greatness that is the Force.
Each step he takes brings him closer to his destiny. Return of the Jedi shows his ability in the force has grown and become a powerful ally to him. It also brings him knowledge he knew, but didn't quite understand. Yoda falls from life after 900 years of living and breathing the force. Luke finds he has a twin sister, and knows he must confront his father.
What makes him different? Irresistable? I hear you now. What could I possibly see in him that many have overlooked? Luke is the type of person who, when you look at him, his personality flows creating a wonderful glow. His blonde hair shining in the sunlight, his brilliant blue eyes would stare back at you with unfathomable depths. You seem to lose yourself in his eyes, feeling as though he can see straight into your soul. That wonderful voice, so soft and full of emotion. I could sit for a thousand years and listen to nothing but his voice. His heart is genuine, and lets not forget that cute dimple in his chin that I know I would love to run my fingers across. lol There is just so much about him that it's hard to define just one quality. It's more than having force ability that makes him special. Jedi or not, he is and always will be an extrodinary man.
