| Encounters: encounters are random events that may happen to your character at any time, they include discovery(find items, secret places, characters etc..), monsters(wizards, creatures, theives, gangs etc..), deadly diseases, and merchants. Discovery: when you are walking or even sometimes sleeping you will find or run into "discovery encounters" these are usually good, but rare. They include finding, items, secret places, characters, new species(not always good), money, engravings, and many phenominons(some natural some unatural) Monsters: these are various creatures that most likely will want to kill you or steal your belongings, or maybe even capture you. There are limit less numbers of various creatures that will be following you and most are dangerous, a good way to wad them off is to kill them! Beware though the wizards are not very strong but their spells are more dangerous then fists, tohugh gangs look tough most of them are not, they just are a pack of loners looking for trouble, so don't be intimidated by looks, although some gangs are tough you will most likely hear about the strong gangs though. Diseases: Like in reality diseases come in mnyvariaties, most of the diseases on this planet are fatal, so if you run into a disease the best way to deal with it is to either heal the diseased or quarunteen them(block off from everything else) With the right time and place diseased units can be used for devious tasks, like sending them into your enemies base while they are sleeping and infecting their men, even though the game will only take place during acouple hours of the day, yes you can do things at night but they will not take place til the next day when i am out of school and ready to update. Merchants: these are annoying pests that can sometimes be useful, the travel in packs and try and get people to buy merchandise from them, like weapons and equiptment, thought they are pest it is ntot the wisest dicision to kill them since they do have connections with other merchants or even other gangs since they must get and give their weapons somewhere. |
