Rubberband Guns

Cool rubberband guns that are easy to make.

To build my rubberband guns you will need:
1 paint stir stick(you can usually get them for free at any store that sells paint)
1 wooden clothes pin
Sharp knife( )or small hacksaw
Glue
A handful of rubberbands

Get out the paint stick and carefully cut a notch about 1/2 in wide into each side of the stick. Next glue the clothes pin to the spot as indicated by the drawing Now you can paint or spray paint a pattern or design on it. I usually use a camouflage theme. To load it loop a rubberband under the front ledge. Then pull the other end back to the clothes pin. Finally open the clothes pin and put the end of the rubber band into it. To fire simply push down on the clothes pin. And there you have it the world's (at least I believe) simplest rubberband gun

Here are a few tips and ideas for you guns:

If you want to make a dual shot rubberband gun, glue two clothes pins side by side and cut a small notch in the middle of the front hook of the gun.

You can also make a dual shot by gluing a clothes pin on both the top and bottom of the paint stick
To make a pistol cut the paint stick in about half. Then follow the normal directions. Finally use extra samll rubber bands.
