Sion

A low groan escaped my lips and I opened my eyes.  Someone was here, in my home.  Cain was still asleep beside me and Reiji beside him.  I had allowed him to stay after the previous night’s endeavors.  Raking my hair out of my face I prepared to go see who was there.

“Going somewhere Sion.” I low, familiar voice said from the shadows.

My eyes narrowed.  I knew the voice but I couldn’t remember who it was, “Show yourself.” I spat angrily.  He laughed softly and stepped out.  A young man with short black hair smiled at me.  My eyes grew wide as I took him in and realized who he was, “Taki…” I hissed softly.

He smiled and mock bowed, I should have been the one bowing to him considering who he was, the eldest son of the vampire king.  With a smile he walked over to me, his fingertips gently ran over my cheek causing me to freeze.  Softly he brushed my hair out of my face, tucking it behind my ear.

“I’ve come for you Sion, just like I said I would.” He purred lowly.

I swallowed hard but put on my game face, gazing at him coldly, without emotion, “Taki no Dracul, I do not have any desire to go with you.” I stated calmly.

He chuckled softly, “Sorry Sion, but you have no choice.  I’ve already claimed you.” He stated, pulling out a folded piece of paper.

I shook my head, not wanting to see it, already knowing what it said.  It was a Letter of Ownership; I had one for Cain, “I am not going to be your pet!” I said angrily.

He smiled and grasped my chin, “You’re mine Sion.  Your father said I could have you, said it was destiny.  You can’t go against fate Sion.”

I looked at him in contempt, “I want to see my sire.” I hissed angrily.

“He’s with my father at the moment; do you really want to disturb the King and his First Ward?”

“Yes, I do.” I growled, “I have my own responsibilities and my own pet.  I am not going to go with you just because you want me to.” He was about to speak when I cut him off, “Or because you have a piece of paper.  Get out of my house Taki.  I’m not going with you.”

He sighed, “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to resort to this but if I must then I must.” He said calmly, pulling out a leather collar.

I snarled, “Get out now Taki.  This is my home and I have my own pet.  I’m not leaving.  If you want me to be yours then you’ll come here, not the other way around.”

He sighed, “I will be back for you and when I come you will go with me.” He said before leaning down and kissing me.  I bit his lip in anger and he snarled, “If you’re that upset about it then your pet and his can come as well but I’m not giving you up.  You’re mine, understand?” He growled before slipping the collar around my throat, “I will be back.” He hissed before walking away.

I growled angrily, trying to remove the black leather collar around my throat.  I couldn’t, he obviously had it made so I couldn’t, “How dare you.” I hissed, “Son of a bitch, bastard, you’ll pay for this.”

I was still trying to get the collar off when Cain and Reiji woke up.  I wanted to see my sire, my father, but of course he had to be with the king at the moment.  It wasn’t right, it wasn’t fair.  I wasn’t anyone’s pet!  Taki had no right to even try to take me as his pet, except…shit.  I closed my eyes, raking my hair out of my face.  The first time I had met Taki was in a battle, our fathers pitted us against each other for sport and he won.  Normally the loser was taken sexually but he didn’t take me, as was his right, he let me go.  He had to be calling in his mark.

“Cain, wake up.” I ordered, getting dressed quickly.

With a groan he opened his eyes, “Huh?”

“We’re going to take a walk, now get up.” I hissed.

He struggled out from under the blankets, getting dressed quickly.  As soon as we were ready I headed for the door.  I would have made it too if a sharp pain hadn’t ripped through me, dropping me to my knees with a cry of surprise and pain.  Reaching up, I grabbed at the collar, trying to get it off.

“It doesn’t work that way Sion.” Taki said, looking down at me with a malicious smirk.

I growled, looking up at him, “Fuck off Taki!” I said angrily, shuddering in pain.

He shook his head, “Now, now pet.” He said, reaching down and sifting my hair through his finger, “That’s no way to speak to your master.”

“You’re not my master.” I hissed.

Cain looked confused, “What the hell is going on?” He asked angrily.

“Silence.” Taki growled, narrowing his eyes at my pet, “You will be silent while I deal with this then we shall decide what will happen.” His fingers jerked on my hair, pulling me up, “You belong to me.  We’re going to see our fathers.” He said, pulling me along by my hair, “Cain, you will remain here.”

He pulled me along by my hair.  I struggled against him; I couldn’t escape no matter how hard I tried.  He was hurting me, “Let me go damn you!”

He didn’t reply, pulling me to his father’s home.  My father, Kyo, was his first ward, the first vampire created.  Throwing me inside, he closed and locked the door, “Father!” He shouted, “I need to speak with you!”

A young man with ebony hair and dressed in an impeccable suit walked down the main staircase, “What is it Taki?” He asked, smiling at him then looking at me, “Ahhh, Sion.” I looked up at him angrily, smoothing my hair back and getting to my feet.

“My king.” I replied softly, “I wish to discuss this matter.” I said respectfully.

“Speak then Sion.  I will listen to what you have to say.”

“I have no desire to be anyone’s pet.  No desire to belong to Taki.” I stated calmly, well, trying to be calm.

He raised an eyebrow and looked at Taki, “Who gave him to you?” He asked, waiting patiently for his answer.

“Kyo, your first ward.” He replied, pulling out his writ of ownership.

Eiri looked it over, “Everything seems to be in order.  It doesn’t seem as though you have any room to argue.” He looked at me, “I’m sorry Sion, but the only way for this to be annulled is for your father to do so.”

Soon after he spoke Kyo walked down the stairs, dressed in a similar manner to Eiri.  He smiled at me and embraced me, brushing my hair out of my face, “It’s good to see you Sion.”

I narrowed my eyes, “Why did you give me to him?  Why did you sell me off to someone I can’t stand?”

He sighed, “Destiny Sion.  This is the way it is supposed to be and there is nothing anyone can do to change that.”

“I hate you.” I said, narrowing my eyes, “I hate you for doing this to me, for stripping my life from me.  I will not go quietly, I will not allow him to own me without a fight.”
