Chapter 1

Aki:  Taken

I’m different, I see it, I fell it in every gaze, in more subtle ways, little looks, reactions.  I also have nightmares, horrible nightmares.  I’ve never told anyone about them and never will.  My name’s Aki.

Summer vacation, my second favorite time of the year.  I wasn’t doing anything this summer, wasn’t staying with my parents, refused to.  I was taking a late night walk, something I enjoyed doing.  I loved the feel of the summer breeze on my skin.  I hadn’t been sleeping well, had never slept well, but now I only got a couple hours of sleep a night.  It was so quiet.  The only sounds were those of my feet against the pavement of the little path.  No one was ever out this late at night and that’s the way I liked it.  The feel of a hand landing on my shoulder startled me.  I jumped and turned quickly, trying to see who was there.  A figure cloaked in black was responsible.  I was afraid; I had no money and nothing to defend myself with.

“What do you want?” I asked, taking a step back.  What a stupid question.

“Are you Aki Kamijou?” The voice that came from the figure was sweet and low, I liked the way it sounded.

            I scowled, “Yes.”

“Good.” He said, grabbing my arm and pulling me close.

“Let me go!” I shouted, trying to break free.

            “No use struggling.” He said.

I grabbed the hood of his cloak and pulled.  A handsome young man was revealed to me, black hair flowed past his shoulders and a pair of black eyes, odd eyes, looked at me.  There were no whites.  The sharp sting of a needle entered my arm.  He let me go and everything began to go fuzzy.  I stumbled forward, barely able to stay on my feet.  He caught me but I pushed him away.

“What did you do?” I asked, barely able to find my voice.

I felt my eyes roll back in my head and his arms wrap around me before I fell into darkness.  When I awoke, something was very wrong.  Cold metal pressed against my left ankle.  With a groan I sat up, my head was spinning.

“You’re awake.” It was the man who had abducted me.

            I scowled, “What the hell?”

He looked over at me.  Was no longer dressed in the concealing robes he had been.  Now he was clothed in a skintight black bodysuit.  A studded leather braced was around his left wrist.

“Be quiet, our master isn’t ready for you yet.”

“I have no master.  How dare you?” I growled.

In a flash of movement he struck me across the face.  I felt blood trickle from my lip.  He brushed it away with his thumb, seemed upset that he had drawn blood.

“Are you harming your tribute?” Someone asked from across the room, “That is so like you Ran.”

“Shut up and hand me that gag.” He growled, pointing across the room.

The man who spoke came into view with a ball gag in hand.  He didn’t look like any man I had ever seen.  A pair of leathery black wings sprouted from his back and a tail, complete with a barb at the end, flicked restlessly across the floor.  His dark chest was bare but his legs were covered in what looked like a black skirt.  A band identical to Ran’s was around his left wrist.  Black hair flowed down his back; his eyes were the same as Ran’s, pure black.  Black talons instead of nails were on his fingers.  He handed the gag to Ran.  Without a word he forced the rubber ball into my mouth and buckled it snuggly.  I glared at him before reaching up to remove it.  He grabbed my wrists and held them in one hand.

“Need something else Ran?” The strange creature asked.

“Cuffs.” The man complied, “Thank you Soma.” He said, locking the leather into place around my wrists.

They were attached directly to each other, “He’s handsome, where’d you find him?” Soma asked, running a hand through my auburn hair.

I jerked my head away from him and he laughed, “Our master sent me for him directly.  This isn’t really a normal tribute.” Ran said calmly.

Soma nodded, “Understandable.  Mind if I stick around to see his reaction?  This one’s definitely a keeper.”

“You can stay.” Ran said with a smile, “He should be here soon.”

Soon after he spoke I felt fingers wind through my hair before jerking my head back.  I gasped as a pair of emerald eyes set into a pale face greeted me.  My hair was released and I looked to see who was there.  He was handsome, well muscled, with long white hair that at least hit his lower back.  He wore nothing except a pair of skintight black pants and a pair of knee high boots.  He circled me, running a finger along my collarbones.

“Very good Ran.” He said with a smile, “Perfect.” He looked down at me, “Well Aki, I have a present for you.” He said sweetly, pulling something out from behind him.

I scowled when I saw what it was.  The leather in his hand was a quarter of an inch wide.  It was studded with silver.  Easily he fastened it around my throat.

“A perfect fit.” He said with a smile, “Thank you Ran.” He looked over at Soma, “Soma, if you would be so kind as to prepare Aki for tonight I would greatly appreciate it.”

“It would be my pleasure master.”

He nodded, “Very good.  I’ll see you in a few hours Aki.” He said before walking out.

I growled behind my gag.  This was sick, this wasn’t right, “Have fun Soma, wonder what the master’s going to do with him tonight.  It is his first night after all.” Ran said, getting to his feet, “I don’t envy you.” He said to me before walking away.

“Well Aki, come on.” He said, removing the cuff around my ankle.

Easily he pulled me up and dragged me away.  I struggled against him but he was strong, too strong.  I tried to ask him where he was taking me but the gag prevented me.  He laughed at my struggles.

“There is no way that gag is coming out.” He said calmly, “I don’t want to listen to your whining while I prepare you.”

My eyes grew wide and I tried to protest but once again, nothing came out.  He pulled me along, no longer speaking to me.  I continued grumbling as we walked.  I would escape, he wouldn’t stop me, no one would.  Two hours later he had finished ‘preparing’ me.  That consisted of bathing, dressing, and tying me to a table.  Thick leather bands were around my wrists.  Chains held them above my head, binding them together.  I was dressed in a pair of leather pants, knee high leather boots with a small heal, and cuffs around my ankles.  They were not tied down however.  The gag still sat in my mouth.  Soma wouldn’t remove it.  After he was finished he left.  I struggled to free myself but couldn’t.  It was too strong and I couldn’t break free.  I was still fighting when the white haired man walked over.  I jerked at the chain holding me to the table.  I couldn’t stand this; I just wanted to go home.  Even my nightmares were better then this.

“Hush Aki, be still.” He whispered soothingly.  I almost wanted to but didn’t, “It will do you no good to struggle.  You cannot escape.”

When I didn’t stop he sighed and grabbed one of my legs, holding it down and hooking a chain to it before doing the same to the other.  I threw my body up off the table, trying with all my might to break free.  My hair was short but just long enough to get in my eyes and as I tossed my head from side to side it did so.  Placing a hand on my chest he held me down.  I was breathing heavily and finally decided to lay still.  I couldn’t break free.  He removed his hand and gently ran his fingers down my cheek.

“That’s better, good boy Aki.” He said with a wicked smile, “My name is Yumi and I am your master.” I shook my head; “You have no choice in this matter Aki.  This is not the world you came from and you will not be going back.  You are my property now and I will also do something about those nightmares you’ve been having.” My eyes grew wide, “Surprised?  Don’t be.  I’m not human and you won’t be for much longer either.  There are some things that I need to do before I can use you the way I intend.” He stated calmly, “Starting with this.” He said, pulling out two silver rings.

I scowled, didn’t know what he was doing.  I soon got my answer when he gently stimulated the flesh around my nipples, I gasped as a sharp burst of pleasure flowed through me.  This was something new.  I screamed around the gag as he shoved one of the rings through my nipple.  This was not good.  I bit down hard as tears began to slip from my eyes.  Without a word he did the same to the other.  I sobbed around the rubber ball.  Tenderly he brushed the tears away before pulling out a tiny ring with a single red jewel hanging off of it.  I didn’t want to know what he was going to do with that one.  I shook my head and whimpered deep in my throat.  His free hand slid down my stomach before cupping my groin.  I tossed my head from side to side, he couldn’t be thinking about piercing down there, oh please god no.

“This is a soul jewel.” He said with a smile, holding the ring up for me to see, “It binds you, binds your soul to this realm.” He explained, unbuttoning and unzipping my pants, “The piercing will not hurt, don’t worry about that.  It’s your coming transformation that will hurt.” He said, wrapping his hand around my length.

There was nothing between my skin and the pants and now I was completely exposed to him.  It felt almost like being pinched, right below the head on the underside of my cock.  I scowled, that wasn’t what I expected.

“It’s because of the jewel.” He explained, “That’s why it doesn’t hurt.” He zipped my pants, “Now then, we can move on.”

I whimpered softly, my nipples ached, and I didn’t want to see what he had in mind next.  I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for what was going to happen.  His fingers trailed gently through my hair.

“Open your eyes Aki.” He ordered.  I shook my head, “Open your eyes and when this is done I’ll remove your gag.” He said calmly.  Slowly I opened my eyes, “Good boy.  I actually have to remove it now.” He laughed, carefully unbuckling it.

He pulled it from my mouth, “How dare you.” I hissed, “Who do you think you are?”

He sighed, “Be silent.” He hissed.  I felt my voice hitch in my throat.  I couldn’t speak, “Good.”

He held his hand out and a knife flew across the room, landing in the palm of his hand.  Slitting his wrist he held the wound over my lips.  Drops of hot red hit my lips and I turned away.  He grabbed my face and forced my mouth open.  The droplets fell into my mouth.  It burned as it slid down my throat.  I felt like my insides were on fire.  A scream escaped my lips and he pulled his wrist away before shoving the ball back into my mouth.  I bit down hard on the gag, trying to stifle my cries.  I twisted in my bonds, trying to find an escape.  Arching up off the table, I felt my heart skip a beat.  Suddenly it stopped and he removed the gag once again.  More blood slipped into my mouth and he quickly replaced the gag.  I was breathing heavily, my strength was slowly fading.  I felt like I was dying.  Two more draughts of blood were administered before he stopped.  I lay still, unable to struggle, unable to fight.  Gently he removed the gag.

“There, all done.” He sounded as if he were speaking to a child.

“What did you do?” I asked softly, I couldn’t feel my heart beat.

A knowing smile spread across his face, “Changed you.  Gave you demon blood, which makes you a vampire.  My vampire.  You belong to me Aki and nothing will ever change that.  Your dreams are important and up until this point have been telling you that this was going to happen.  Now that it has they will cease.” He paused, “You will be well taken care of, my little pet.” Softly I began to cry, not just from the recent pain but from the emotional stress.  He stroked my hair gently, it was soothing, “It’s alright.” He whispered.

I shook my head, “No, it’s not.  You killed me.” I hissed, “You killed me!”

He laughed and I felt the sharp sting of a needle in my neck, “I’ll leave you to relax for awhile.  I’ll be back to check on you later.” He said before walking out.
