A few year ago I picked up a game called Superbabes. While the base system had its points, the one thing I enjoyed was the Bimbo points. These allowed the character to accomplish certain depending on how many points they spent. The characters were allow to spend two to three per scenario. At the beginning of each scenario the GM would roll a d20 to seee if the person would have a Bimbo Event. So hey, I thought what a great idea for anime. Here they are, Anime Push Points (shorthened to push points at times).

During a scenario characters have the option of spending up to 2 push points. Spending a push point allows a character to automatically hit or to succeed at a skill (no roll required). This hit or skill success should be looked upon as the base roll needed for success. Example: A person needs to roll under their body of 4 to make a jump. Not trusting their fate to the dice, they decide to use a push point. This gives them an automatic success as if they had rolled a 4 on 2d6. Not the most spectacular jump, but they are safe on the other side. Push points should not be used in a situation where it is impossible for the character to succeed i.e. I will use a push point to make a jump across the grand canyon.

Anime characters are a tough bunch, but sometimes luck just doesn't go their way. Sometimes they blunder. Blunder comes about when the GM rolls under a player's Anime Push Points on 2d6 (A roll of a 2 automatically equals an Anime blunder as long as a character has any push points). Below are charts a GM can roll on to determine what strange event should befall the characters. GM can feel free to adjust these or to create their own Blunders. Once the blunder happens the characters accumulated push points go back down to zero and they can start rebuilding them again.

The following chart is set up with some craziness in mind. It is most useful in a light campaign. Adjust the Charts for blunders that are less crazy for any dark or Sci Fi campaign.

One Last things before we get to the craziness. These are to entertain, or at the
outside to make things difficult on the Characters. They should not be used to kill off
characters. With this in mind have fun.

A couple more things. First I want to state for the record this was inspired by Superbabes and I mean no infringement on any of their copyrighted materials. Second if anybody have any ideas for more charts, I will definitely be interested in seeing them. Finally other then my attempt at the bottom of this page, all pics are the property of their respected owners.
