A Word

A word mispoken,
or not understood.
A word scrambled
more than any other would.

A sentence of danger,
cried out in vain,
a sentence of anger
ending in pain.

A phraze uncanny,
strange and untrue.
A phraze rebuttled
beyong its use.

Only these come
in every meeting.
An awkward state,
a horrible greeting.

A slip of the tongue,
a word too contrite -
yet they see nothing
past; no grand insight.

Blinded by the surface
that has no meaning.
Can they not see
the inside greiving?

No...
for the foul has
with words
created foul greetings..

Something so inexcusable has
come to pass with greetings
for those wrong words
show the worst of meanings,
that no one but the best may hide.
