I often wonder
Where the sea plunders
Within emotions so deep.

Where the waves
Crash against the rock,
And where the
Small streams meet.

Where do the
Storms subside,
Within my mind’s eye?
Will everything
Calm once more?

What is behind
These rivers so deep –
Are these emotions
Things that I should
Cling to – to keep?

The storm within
My heart may never subside,
Being as unpredictable
As the crashing sea.

The waves swell,
And come running
Through me.
Changing course
With the tide once more.

I stand in the
Eye of the storm,
The waves reflecting
My changing soul.

Once more do
I plunge,
Once more do
I bear my heart
Unto you.
