Come with me

Come with me, to
A land far away,
To a place
Beyond seeing.

Come with me, to
A land far away,
To a place
Of great misleading.

Where the wind
Is piercing
And all eyes
Are searing
In a blaze of
Deep mistrust.

Where the groups
‘Unknowing’, of
What they aren’t showing,
Watch as they fade to dust.

There among the days
So hollow, there
Where no stories
Can be swallowed,
Live those who
Are empty inside.

There amongst the
Deepest forests
Do they hide
As their lives go by.

Come with me, to
A land very near,
Where all will
Abide by their fears.

Come with me, to
A land of the shallow,
Where all denounced
Is of reality –

A life of dreary
Pretend, where
All are foes
And not friends.

Come with me…
To a land, that
We’ve hated,
And a land, that
We’ve created
