Yeah.  Kannabisu is Japanese for cannabis.  And, if you didn't already know, cannabis is marijuana.  Yes, I smoke it.  No, I'm not some frickin' moron, as people like to assume when they hear that I smoke weed.  People think it fucks you up, that it harms you, kills you, makes you stupid.  None of that is true.  There is not a single thing wrong with marijuana, except that it is illegal.  And do you know why it is illegal?  Racism.  It was outlawed to get Mexicans and Blacks out of the country, and "under control."  Damn I hate the way our government works against drugs.  Yeah, most drugs are bad for you.  No, you shouldn't do them, if you value your life.  But outlawing them is just stupid.  It is a common knowledge that when you aren't allowed to do something, it becomes more interesting.  When your mom told you not to stick a fork in the electrical socket, you probably did it anyway, or at least wondered why you shouldn't.  In Amsterdam, when they legalized marijuana, yeah, there was an increase in the users of marijuana, but then it went down sharply.  And while I there is nothing wrong with using marijuana, it works the same way for pretty much any substance.  It is illegal for people under 18 to buy tobacco.  Yet, most people who smoke, start when they are kids.

Alcohol is another thing I am angry about.  Yes, it is dangerous.  Yes, you can die from overdosing, but before all these laws about it, it really wasn't as big a problem.  Only in America is it such a big problem. It used to be a normal thing.  Most people were smart enough to not drink enough to get drunk, and when they did, it didn't happen much.  People hardly ever died from it.  People drank alcoholic drinks because they tasted good, not because they were alcoholic drinks.  And beer... beer sucks... it only tastes good when you are used to it.  There is no point to get used to it, because it sucks.

Other drugs... other drugs are pretty much all bad for you, some to different degrees.  Yes, they are bad for you, but no, they should not be illegal.  If someone wants to use it, who are you to stop them?  People are so ill educated that they think marijuana can kill you, and some are ill educated enough to think other drugs don't.  I ain't saying that's the only reason someone would to those drugs and not do weed, but it is a reason that I have encountered a lot.  I dunno... this is how it is with people I know.

When I tell people that weed isn't bad for you, and explain all the reasons why, they usually don't believe me.  When I ask them stuff like, "So, after hearing all this, would you do it if you were offered it by someone you trusted?"  they usually say no.  They always say, "because I don't want to get in trouble," but that is b.s.  I can tell what they are thinking... they aren't good liars... and they just think I'm full of shit.  Now, if you are scared to do it because you don't want to get in trouble, that's fine.  There's nothing wrong with it.  And if you just don't wanna do it, that's fine, too.  But don't give me some b.s. answer that you don't really mean.  I'm telling the truth, and I know it.  You may not believe it, but if you don't, you could at least tell me so.  It won't piss me off.
