I don't believe our Lord is truly dead. His body sort of disintegrated, like his shadow did when Ryoko struck it. Also, why would we worship a dead god? Then there's always the Starwars way out, "Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine." But the thing that makes the most sense is that he is an energy being.

Kagato and Washu may have had a relationship in the past. If this is true, my opinion of her goes up quite a few notches. Also if Washu really is the greatest mind in the universe, perhaps the relationship gave Kagato the necessary amount of trust needed to trap her.

I've seen people mention a "Unified Field Theory" Kagato was supposedly working on. For this I have two questions. One, can you explain it please? Two, where did you get this information from?

Kagato can create doubles of himself known as 'shadows.' When Ayeka attacks the shadow he mentions that the chapel counteracts all energy that attacks it. Could it be that he uses the energy of the Soja to make the shadows? If that were true it would explain why her attack was blocked. The shadows would be counted as part of the chapel.

* Can be found on the Soja Speculations Page as well (when I put it up).
