I want the Church of Kagato to become a great wealth of information on our Lord. Though appearing briefly in the Tenchi Muyo series he very quickly became a very deep character for those who cared to watch. I hope that people who have secretly worshipped Kagato, but been afraid to admit it, will be able to come together in a safe and pleasant atmosphere. I want this to be a good place for standard worship as well as a healthy role-playing environment.
This should be a place of learning, even for those who don't worship our Lord. People should come to understand our Lord, not simply view him as an object to be hated because he was 'the villain'. We are a group of people who adore our Lord's : intelligence, strength, wisdom, physical abilities, suave-ness, individuality, sense of beauty, or maybe just his good looks and pipe organ playing. This should be for anyone who's found a little bit of who they always hoped they would be in Kagato. I want this to be a place where you can express yourself, within reason. I'm perfectly fine with adult issues and themes, just no hentai. I'm expecting a range of ages, and who can stop a seven year old from clicking 'I'm over 18'?
This is not a group dedicated to evil, as I fear we might be viewed. I personally don't believe in the annihilation of the rest of the Tenchi Muyo cast. Kagato did not try to kill them just because they were there. He tried to kill them because they were obstructing his way to power. The way I see it Kagato was not evil, just an ends justifies the means type of person.
Those are my hopes for the future and I hope to get to watch them come to fruition. I think most of all though, I want Kagato to be a well respected, if not well liked, person.
