Memories are like a river because as you stand near a river the water flows by you and then away from you. Your memories come to you freshly and then gradually flow away and tend you not be remembered. The farther the water flows away the less you can see the water until you cannot see it anymore. Then a new stream of water comes in taking the place of the water you saw before. Just like memories, new memories are remembered and they tend to be forgotten as time passes by. New memories take the place of the ones that have been forgotten. |
