| Hamartia - The hamartia or flaw in the main character Brutus was that he was too naive and believed that everyone was as innocent as himself. Periptiea - The Periptiea, or reversal of fortune was when Brutus started out with a great intention but ended up with huge guilt which lead him to suicide. Anagnorisis - The anagnorisis, or recognition was when Brutus realized what he had done and committed suicide. Catharsis - Catharsis, purgation of pity and fear was when Cassius kills himself because of fear. |
