Todd Ezzell's "Clouser Floating Minnow"

Hook: Mustad #3366, size 4
Thread: 6/0 any color
Head: size 10 white sponge rubber bug bodies (2)
Eyes: Stick on eyes size 1/8" green
Body: White and yellow bucktail
Throat: Red Krystal Flash
Center Line Flash: Flashabou Mirage - Fluorescent Yellow

Tying Directions:

  1. Tie on thread half way between eye and bend then tie throat (8-10 strands of red krystal flash) on top of hook.
  2. Tie small amount of white bucktail in front of throat and on top of hook.
  3. Tie on center line flash (5 stands of Flashabou) in front of white bucktail and on top of hook.
  4. Tie on small amount of yellow bucktail in front of Flashabou and on top of hook. Then whip finish.
  5. Coat inside of both bug body halves with adhesive and glue together over front of hook (sandwich hook between both bug bodies).
  6. Stick on eyes and coat head with Flex Seal.
