Hook Tiemco 200R
Body Dark Brown Seal Substitute
Rib Fine gold wire or copper wire
Tail Brown goose biot
Back Turkey feather covered with clear nail polish

Directions:

  1. Tie in lead from eye of hook, about 12 turns.
  2. Tie in 2 brown goose biots at bend of hook.
  3. Tie in turkey feather at rear.
  4. Tie in fine gold wire.
  5. Make a dubbing loop and wax loop with tacky wax.
  6. Advance thread to 2/3 of the way up the shank.
  7. Put Seal substitute in dubbing loop and spin.
  8. Advance dubbing up to 2/3 up hook shank.
  9. Lay turkey feather over top, tie off at 2/3.
  10. Segment body with wire 2/3 up hook. Tie off.
  11. Continue the rest of the way with thread, dubbing and turkey feather.
  12. Allow turkey feather to overhang hook eye and cut a V on it.
  13. Brush clear nail polish on turkey feather.
