Thread 3/0 white Uni-thread
Throat White sculpin wool
Wing 3-4 Peacock Herls over Dove gray bucktail
Sides Mallard Flank
Eyes (optional) stick on gold
Head Top marked with black, then epoxied

Tying Directions:

  1. Start thread behind the eye of the hook. Take the thread back ¼ to 1/3 of an inch.
  2. Tie in white sculpin wool (the type on the patch, not the stranded stuff) pointing back.
  3. On top tie in gray bucktail, then 3-4 Peacock herls.
  4. Take two similar mallard flank feathers and tie them in on the sides.
  5. You can now color the top half of the feathers gray.
  6. Now peel off two stick on eyes – you choose the size.
  7. Color the top of the head black and epoxy.
