Tying Directions:
The only real trick to using the lace is to make a sharp > cut and start the lace about ¼ back from the hook eye, placed under the hook. Wrap the thread around the hook and the lace to the bend of the hook and secure with half hitch. A tail can be added at this time if desired. The half hitch helps hold the lace in place for wrapping the lace back to where you started. Wrap thread back to the eye. (To start lace wraps forward, use one hand to wrap and the other to help keep the lace under the hook.) Keep the lace tight, after a few wraps you will be able to let go of the bottom lace.
That about covers it. The rest is adding material and building up the head to the size you want.
Another good color is clear lace and use all white hair very sparse. I use the chartreuse in off color water.
