When the story begins, she is debating the world and her place in it, feeling that maybe it's all a bit too commonplace, and wishing something out of the ordinary would happen. Sadly, you really should be careful what you wish for. Ellis is friendly and kind, but a bit of a dreamer. Her musings could cause her to become depressed, were Sarah not there to perk her up. Ellis lives with an old lady called Mrs Downs, and is her only lodger. Ellis' parents are both alive and well but live quite far away. |
