If you have been reading news online and offline, global warming is one of the most talked issues nowaday. Zainul Ariffin writes today in NST on global warming, which he says that Malaysians do not take the matter seriously.

He starts off the article by saying that global warming is a hazy concept and then writes: "So, the world is getting warmer but what’s new for us in tropical, hot and humid Malaysia? "

While I do agree with him that global warming is such a hazy concept for most people and they wouldn't notice because of our climate, things have started to change. If you read newspaper today particularly Utusan, the hot issue now is river pollution and the nation still hasn't recovered from talking about the massive flood in Johor.

All these issues related to environment also are also related to global warming which a specific term to broader "climate change caused by man".

The point here is that climate change ie increase in earth temperature is mainly caused by man through their greenhouse emitting activities.
