| Un-names poem Dahlia Pena Mind left in disrepair Heart still without a care Body worn and beaten down Once a smile, now a frown. Never crying but eternally sad Why must the pain always hurt this bad? Lost in thought and in lies Caught up in the web of screams and lies. Disaster tears through the mind Leaving the heart in a bind. Lost without hopes and cares Whipped and stripped 'til totally bare. Tortured and Helpless fall asleep While Horror and Hatred learn to creep. Into the minds of children dear Testing what will make them shake with fear. Quiver and shake and your mind will bake The perfect pain for brand new veins. A life of dread and cowerdice is born Always with threats of dreams being torn. Burnt at the stake and left to rot Is it the live you've always sought? Tied to a post, never to be free Your head falls, you give in Slowly you awaken. 'Twas only a dream. Finally the real pain is ready to begin. |
