| Old stones lay beaten and tattered by the wind. These worn stones hold a history, a past rich in American history. This sacred place rest along a country dirt road neither halfway to nowhere nor in between. A page of history almost wiped away by natures wear and tear. These stones of rememberance crumble into dust only outliving their owner's by a few years. Some names still are legible crafted by the best engravers of the time. Some stones wiped clean with no name or record of a precious life. Inside the gates of this scared place lay a place you can only dream about, graced by ancestors. Their stories rest in the earth untold, but we chose to be the detectives and uncover the stories of their bones. |

| Standing outside of the barbedwire fence at the cemetery. Headstones date from 1818 to 1901. The barbedwire fence doesn't define the space of the cemetery. Some stones lay outside of the boundary in the woods to the right. |
