| I am a Junior at Kent State University. My major currently is Business Management with a minor in French. I started off in Architecture. Kent has one of the best Architecture programs in the nation. For those of you who think it is easy to pick a major you must have slacked off in high school like most of my friends. I have quite a heavy load on my shoulders. I work full time and go to school full time. Believe me there is enough time in the day to do this you just have to use it wisely. Enough about me, here is a little about Kent State University. Kent State University is the home of the golden flashes. I am not sure exactly what it looks like because Kent uses the lightening symbol and a falcon. Kent is also the home of the worst accident in the history of colleges. Kent is the home of the May 4th shootings. A moment of silence is needed now. A kool job on campus is being a fundraiser at the Office of Foundation and Development. I met some really kool people there and made some friend. I also recommend joining the Kent Pride if you are gay looking for a support group. This group is a great way to meet gay people that go to the university. If you do come to Kent one place you have to check out is the river. It is rich in history. It is the reason Kent is where it is today. |
