Well as it was, I was able to do a few things and make this life long dream come true… So down to the shop we went and talked some more to the guys at Lightning Industries and make the finial decisions for the buggy. After a month or so my financing came through and I met with Chris and gave him the deposit. Well they did a bunch of change on the jig for the buggy frame and other delays, but then I get the e-mail I was waiting for.. Progress pictures… Here is a set of the first pictures that they sent to me..

Well here we are in the middle of March and I have gotten a few more pictures from the shop. The update is, the front a-arms are being laser cut and being put together, the fuel cell has come in and they are going to start building the brackets for it. The engine and the trans is on order, I guess that the mendeola company only makes so many trans housings so we are on standby for the next run of them that should be in the next week or two. Once all the comes in we should really see a lot of progress on the buggy.. Here are the pictures that I just got…

Ok, I took a trip down to vist my buggy. I was a little disapointed that there wasn't more done on it. they are saying that do to making the frame wider there has been a lot of changes. So they now have giving me another completion date of 6 to 8 weeks. Well as of the 10th of this month it was 8 weeks from the true start of the build. So I am trying to be patient. They are doing a great job on what is done so far. The feul cell was there and it comes in around 22 gals. They were working on the mounts for the front arms to attach to. Well here is the next completion date it is June 12. So we wait. I had Kathy take a couple of pictures of me by the buggy, They were taken with a cell phone again sorry..
They also had sent me progress pictures that same day, so here they are, enjoy!
