The theories over whether September 11th was an inside job heated up over the weekend, highlighted by Popular Mechanics� Ben Chertoff�s appearance on Art Bell�s weekend edition of Coast To Coast AM (CLICK HERE FOR PM ARTICLE). The row actually started on Friday when various hosts on the ultra-right Genesis Communications Network (they seem to all have the same viewpoint) noted that Ben Chertoff is actually a cousin of new Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. On Bell�s show, Ben said that he wasn�t aware that he was related to Michael � and that they�re probably �distant relatives�. (TAKE: His last name is Chertoff, not Smith or Jones � you�d think he would do some previous homework on someone who has the same last name). On GCN a host named Jack Blood, whose show follows Alex Jones, was on with a guest (it was about numerology as related to 9/11) when Art Bell�s name came up in the conversation. Blood first claims that Bell is a nephew of multi-billionaire of Warren Buffet. Blood then notes that while he thinks George Noory does a good job on Coast, that Art doesn�t have nearly as open a mind, noting that you can talk to him about UFO�s and chupacabras, but if you bring up 9/11 being an inside job you will be hung up on quicker than you can say �Art Bell�. Jeff Rense (as well as some of his listeners) then apparently said additional things about Bell�s viewpoints on his show and website. As one would suspect, Bell came out with smoke pouring out of his ears Saturday night, angrily responding to e-mails that viewed him as a traitor, among other things. One listener suggested that Bell put on Alex Jones and Ben Chertoff on in a debate, Art�s answer was that Noory lets Alex on without an opposing view, so he has the right to do the same with Chertoff (TAKE: Good response, put AJ on with someone with an opposite view and all you�ll get will be two people screaming at each other for three hours). KACSPORTS did fast-blast Art Bell, asking if he was aware of Jack Bloods� contention that he was a relative of Buffett, Bell did not touch on that (realize he does only get about a million messages an hour). As would be expected. Alex Jones treaded very carefully on C2C, noting that he�s a regular with Noory and that Bell has the right to put what guests he says fit. (TAKE: Right thing to say, Alex doesn�t dare risk jeopardizing the huge numbers he gets on Noory). Jones then states that his problem is with Ben Chertoff, adding that he was on vacation for the weekend and was not aware that he was being attacked on C2C. Judging from the weekend, I suspect you won�t see Art and Alex sitting together at a Starbucks anytime soon, although the fact that Art doesn�t share Jones� viewpoints should come as a shock. More interesting though is that it seems like Art and George Noory aren�t exactly friends these days. I wouldn�t be surprised if Bell left Coast once (or twice, thrice, or even four times) and for all in the near future, and moved over to the satellite radio domain (long projected) � but the weekends� events did make for fascinating radio. One last thing, Art Bell is near the top of the list of people you never want to piss off. 11/16 � Don C. Wiley, perhaps the most famous man in the world in his field, at the pinnacle in his profession and headed for a Nobel prize � disappears coming out of a meeting in Memphis, TN. His car is found on a bridge linking Tennessee and Arkansas. The medical examiner working on the case is found tied up with a bomb strapped to his chest. The case is ruled either a suicide or an accident.
11/23 � Vladimir Pasechnik, who defected from the Soviet Union in 1989 and was responsible for aero soling the plague and involved in the fight against Mad Cow and Hoof-in-Mouth disease, is killed in a plane crash along with three prominent Swiss microbiologists.
12/10 � Dr Robert M Schwartz, another top in the line DNA researcher is found murdered in his home, in what was ruled as a �Satanic Ritual� murder.
12/14 � Australian microbiologist dies in an airlock when oxygen turns into nitrogen, he was working with other scientists who were working against a mouse pox virus.
2/9/2002 � A very brilliant Russian scientist is found with his HEAD BASHED IN at his home in Moscow.
2/14 � Ian Langford, a leading research scientists on the global environment working on the spread of deadly pathogens is found under a table half-naked with blood all over the wall. No cause of death on the post-mortem. According to Quayle, either Quincy was loaded that night or they are being told not to report anything.
2/28 � A San Francisco microbiologist named Tanya Holdsmeyer is taken down by a colleague as she was taking delivery of a pizza, who then commits suicide.
3/10 � The most fascinating and bizarre death of all, David Wynn Williams was riding his struck by a vehicle while jogging in England, he was the man who studied Martian microbes as well as Antarctic life forms on Lake Vostok, the largest freshwater lake in the world (under two miles of ice).
3/25 � Steven Mostow is killed in a private plane crash near Denver, investigation is stonewalled.
6/24 � Associate clinical professor at the University of Califonia-San Diego dies within 24 hours of catching a �virus� on a trip to La Soto, Africa.
7/18 � The biggest murder yet, Dr. David Kelley, considered as Britain�s most foremost microbiologist who oversaw Britain�s weapons defense program in the 1980�s. Body is initially found propped up against a tree, 25 minutes later other authorites find the body on his back (who moved the body???) Responding paramedics find very little blood on the scene, and Dr. Kelley�s wrists are slit in an opposite fashion of what would be found in a suicide case.
